There's something about the beat in 18 that is reminiscent of the radio session, but I can't hear the vocal. Props to your ears or your stereo or your headphones [or whatever] if it's there.

I don't think you are weird I do listen to Ghosts to relax me before going to sleep. Sounds to me like the music is helping you to get into a kind of mediative state (I won't get all mind body spirit on you) but it is most likely an extremely good thing for you to do and you should continue with it. I have only had one experience sort of like that it was listening to Coronr Radiata (The Slip) I was listening to it in my car through earphones (at night whilst I was waiting to pick a friend up) and I must of been drifting off or something anyway I just felt this huge jolt like someone had hit my car; it scared the life out me. (I put that experience down to the flight or fight reflex) @ Scott-Pawsey if you have a look here you should get a good idea of the deluxe edition's contents if you click on 'more info' you will see a sexy picture of it Edited 2 time(s). That's definitely something I need to do more often. It's perfect nodding off music. I think I know what you mean by jolts. Are you talking physically...as in you actually jolt...or you just feel like somethings going on which you're not quite sure if you have control over?

To go to sleep I have a set playlist of numerous NIN instrumentals that always plays, and numerous more quiet Ghost tracks are on there. It is definitely a good way to get to sleep, especially for somebody like me who can't sleep at night without some kind of noise.

(And I'm kinda picky about my audio. I don't do MP3s... All my digital media is in lossless audio.) And I agree with the others above me... It's great stuff to fall asleep to....
