How much is WITT Pt. 2? I bought one the other day at the store... and I tried looking it up online and stuff.

I want to say it was made in EU... I'd have to double check and I don't have it with me right now. Does it make much difference where it was made? I mean, on eBay they sell for quite a bit, the WITT singles.

The jewel case on mine is the small mini size - really small and thin (I think the term is 'maxi'?). And btw.... pt. 2 is the one with the orange cd, RIGHT???

A buddy I work with has The Downward Spiral vinyl miss-pressing, theres PJ Harvey tracks on there. Any idea what that would be worth?

ChaseNine - regarding WITT orange made in EU - it's OK, all of them were made either in EU or in Japan. American version is a different story. And stores don't raise the price as high as some greedy ebay users. It's normal that people occasionally buy it nowadays for $5 or so.

Where have you seen WITT in any form for "$5 or so"?

I'd imagine 30-50 is more realistic. unless i'm crazy. which is always possible.

You aren't crazy, but you're dismissing the luck factor. And no, i haven't seen it.

10/10/09 9:10 AM

I found all 3 WITT singles for 2.99 each at a local used record store. I agree that it does take a little luck, but they do turn up now and then at a reasonable price.

VHS of Light of Day which features TR before he was in NIN and stars Joan Jett!

10/16/09 9:35 AM

Broadcast Archives DVD - is it worth $25?
I'm asking because i can't verify the picture and sound quality in the store that sells it and i've paid less for AATCHB and BYIT (+other high quality projects which are free of charge).

I have the 2008 Halloween Litho signed by the current lineup framed with a ticket from the show. How would i find out about how much it is worth?

11/09/09 10:06 AM

How about:

The Hand That Feeds 1 track promo?

and

Closer To God pt. 2 WHITE disc?

Could not seem to find them throughout the thread smiling smiley

Sorry if this is a repeat post, but I didn't know if any of the older shirts are rare.
I have an eraser t with the lyrics printed on it, a perfect drug shirt with "The Perfect Drug" in pink and purple letters on front and green logo on back, and also a t with the light blue logo in big print and nine inch nails below it on the front, and on the back it has the nothing logo with either 95/96 or 96/97 on it (not at home so can't look).

Not looking to sell just curious, got them from tours and record shops in my high school years

11/09/09 8:32 PM

How about a sealed Closure VHS set? I bought one on ebay about a year or so ago for only $15.50, I'd like to know how much it'd be worth.

11/15/09 12:26 AM

Hey everyone.

My local record store had a first pressing w/ insert PHM 12" for $40. Assuming it is in good condition, which it looked to be, is that a good deal?? I don't really want to get to much into vinyl but if I'm never going to see it again (rarity?), I'll go back and buy it.
Thanks!

^They usually go $30 plus shipping on ebay. I would say it's the valued price. It is nice to get things in person so you can examine it closely rather than the risk of something getting damaged in the mail. I'd say go for it!

Sweet thanks! I think I'll pick it up for a christmas gift from me to me, lol. So how rare is it? I don't really use the internet to buy things, only used CD/records stores... (best estimate)

Thanks, i've already had that kind of thing for a long time (even the dual-layer version), just thought maybe that DVD is free from PayPerView watermark and other flaws.

I found WITT Pt. 2 at a local store for $7. I am assuming some people don't care about their NIN stuff as much as I, and as such, probably never researched the cd online before selling it to the local store for a guestimated $3-$4! In fact, I have bought quite a few of my more rare Halos' at this small, used store. And a few weeks after WITT I kept checking in and found nothing else. I'd say Luck is a HUGE factor when buying rarities. Like Halos.

11/23/09 1:02 PM

Plus, just ask around. I am sure people would be willing to go a bit less than some of the ebay prices. On anything...

11/25/09 12:34 AM

So I'm looking to sell my NIN vinyl collection and wondering what you think it might be worth. I have quite a few things but the only thing I have concentrated on over the years is vinyl so keep that in mind. Every halo I have is vinyl and original unless otherwise stated. Just wondering what I could get for them either as single or as a whole.

Thanks

Thanks

Honestly, if I were you I would plan on a low 15-20/Vinyl price for EACH VINYL: THEN determine a price for the collection as a whole. Basically find an average.
I.E., some Vinyls here will have costed much more than others, and some you can find for a few bucks sometimes. But the sealed ones are definitely going to be a nice find for any collector.

Also... I am so jealous. This is one of those times I wish I had all the money I could need. I want to collect all the NIN Vinyls', and I currently have none.

Anyways, like I said figure out which ones were more and which ones were less. Settle on a decent price of EVERY SINGLE record, then add every one of those prices up and divide them by the number of Vinyls' that will be included. That will give you the average... that's what I would do.

I toyed with this notion before (I think) but would anyone be interested in helping to create a sticky thread of a "definitive" price guide? I was thinking a thread that contained a page for each halo, every release (and variation) with a estimated price and link to nincatalog and nincollector. I think it would be easy for the collectors to navigate, rather than to keep posting questions and searching through the thread if it has already been asked before.

If we can get a team of 5 or so people on this to reseach the threads and ebay, can a mod create a sticky? I think it could turn into an excellent project.

^That's it! Thanks! I will be adding to this starting tonight. It would be cool if I could utilize the help of 3-5 people, prefferably those who have purchased a lot of variants and rarities. I will be researching this thread later tonight and making notes. Here is the thread, and I will have a google doc up soon.

Hey does anyone know if the Absolute Nothing poster was a real nin poster or just something that floats around eBay?
