that's how much very common used copies of Broken and Pretty Hate Machine sell for.

Are you sure that the 1st Pressing SEALED of the Downward Spiral cassette would only be worth $15?

When you give your answers with prices, is that how much it's worth to you? or you just don't know the market that well?

Used copies of Broken and PHM shoud not sell for that much, $8 tops. The Downward Spiral is actually more common than both of those. The first pressing is also more common than the second pressing. The second pressing came out in 97, and the demand for tapes at that point were significantly lower. The price I gave is based off of what other collectors have paid and how much I've seen them sell for.

I just bought a sealed Year Zero cd from Ebay and when I opened the packaged it was delivered in it appears to be a promo cd. What is the value of this? I bought it really cheap because I thought it was just a regular one and I wanted one for my collection that was sealed.

*It has a white sticker covering the barcode under the shrink wrap and a promo sticker on the front of the cd.

What's the value of the Year Zero US CD without front sticker? I think it's the BMG edition. Thanks in advance.

They are worth about $10 though I think they are pretty hard to come by. I have one sealed and two unsealed.

I am wondering what the We're In This together 10 inch album is worth. They are very hard to come by and I am just wondering from people who have the album what they paid for it and what it should be sold for. Thanks!

03/06/10 4:47 AM

About 300 - 400 USD
If you have luck, cheaper.
I got mine for free after all, spending the profit I made selling the spare ones.

03/06/10 2:58 PM

NICE! Thanks! Spare witt 10 inch???? I finally got a seller on Discogs that was actually selling this item and not throwing around some BS! Still waiting on it to get here but should be first of next week. CANT WAIT!

CD5 March of the Pigs (UK release, part 2 of 2) CIDX 592 854 003-2
Similar to this item but has strange ultra light gray (almost white) logos with a silver disc background.

Also...

Fixed (US release) Black audio cassette in clear and black case, with insert.
Similar to this item but with a hole punch through the catalog number 96093-4 (no scan yet).

Logo looks iffy? HOW?

That is real. ITV Promo, and its' official. Look at the nothing logo, and the small print by nothing and the left side NIN. It's official. It doesn't seem like it cause there is nothing else on the disc. But trust me. You are fucking lucky to own that. Don't give it up. WORTH A LOT. It doesn't look sealed. Is it?

04/05/10 4:46 PM

@OhMyGodMuffins

what I'd give to have those items... sealed too... tongue sticking out smiley !

04/06/10 8:35 AM

Anyone know what a sealed copy of the original TVT release of Pretty Hate Machine on vinyl is worth? I just scored one on eBay, and I think I got a great deal.

@Muffins Those are not promos. They are the standard Japan releases.

from the random thread:

There are some major issues with the disc:
- 'nine inch nails' written in TDS-era font; all the Fragile stuff had typography by David Carson which looks very different
- 'nothing' logo is inverted - when printed on disc, the letters should be negative space
- NIN logo is just not right
- it's in a DVD case

I could make that on my thermal cd printer. And that is 100% true on the typeface.

nevermind
