No, it's not part of the artwork.

Oh, yeah, your question: it's hard to say only one, but it's probably the German We're in This Together 10" promo vinyl.
AATCHB DE: it's not so rare. Years ago I thought it's ultra rare and expensive, but it's not. I think 40 bucks is the average price, so don't pay too much for it. BTW, it's one of the most beautiful physical NIN release (after Ghosts)

I have this too on my French digipak! (brought it 1st hand; I reside in Australia) In fact, all the ones I see from JB Hi-Fi (listed as Special Import) have these 'square-glitches'. And I always though it was part of the artwork...

A related question on misprints: has anyone else got a misprint on their TDS booklet? (the colours on some photography artwork pages are way off: the dirt/dust brown looks dark purple-ish/black - ex: difficult to make out the NIN logo on the first page). My serial number is CID 8012/522 126-2

^^Incredible price!
The regular store price is about $15 in Japan.

@laci
Like to see the pic. Maybe mine not misprint one???
I got a French Fixed at a local Tower Records in early '90. And I haven't seen any other edition except French and Jap in my town until now.
I speculate all "import" Fixed in my country is only French edition.

All the imports in JB are the french version. Every french copy i've ever seen, including mine, have the square glitches, so i dont think its anything new.

I also have the misprinted copy of TDS with the purple/black coloration, as do a few others here. It appears a batch of them has been misprinted in this way.

ok so i assume you're talking about red-eye records again. I've already said something about them but ill say it again to re-iterate:
They list a lot of stuff on their site that they DO NOT HAVE. They say they can acquire it but in reality they cannot; I've ordered stuff through them only to be told they have sold out or it can't be acquired. If you are going to buy through red-eye go into the actual store and search, because 90% of their stock is there, and they only have a fraction of what is listed on the site.

I've never seen a 2 disc AATCHB in there before, and i check that place for stuff once a week generally...

The plastic wrapping is also open too. I figured I would buy it because I would probably never come across it again. Which I know is stupid, but with me I probably will never come across one again.

So should I just go ahead and open it since it's so damaged?

Will post pictures on Sat, cause it's not with me. As far as I can remember it looks like frgt_10's one. It wouldn't be strange if I didn't have another one without square glitches.

1st post on 17th page has my signature above the quote, but it wasn't me!

My copy of Fixed (made in France) also has weird blue spots here and there, but i thought it's part of the design.

I want to ask about halo 17 DVD made in the EU. BIEM/SABAM. LC 06406. 0602498371213. TERRIBLE LIFE is a common error? I owned it for 2 years and didn't notice until today!

About those Fixed releases...
The UK first pressing of the Fixed CD did not have the square glitches on the 'n' artwork. I think every other UK repressing since then does have the glitches. The artwork on the repressings is also slightly lighter in colour and in thinner packaging.

I think the 'discoloured' TDS artwork is also an extremely common repressing. As far as I can tell it is a fairly recent repressing; almost all new (current) UK releases of TDS have this. It may actually not be an error and done on purpose to keep costs down... A similar thing happened on recent repressings of 'Slipknot's' Iowa album a few years ago to save money on full printing.

06/16/09 7:23 AM

goldy, frgt_10 - I have ordered that 2cd set from Red Eye and it arrived as the 1cd version. Exact same thing just happened at another place too. I have had mixed experiences with Red Eye online and would say going in is the way to go, if it is possible.

hmmm well it all depends on you really, if your a massive NIN collector I would say leave it closed, especially if you have no intention of playing it, but really it all depends on you......I'm sure there are other ones you can find on the net, just go for a big hunt before judging on how hard it may be to find.

Hellosmiling smiley. Hey, just wondering, if I am selling stuff to someone through paypal, how would I do that outside of ebay? I may be selling stuff soon and it's not through ebay, it's person to person. So how would I accept a payment through paypal? The steps involved? Or would it be easier just to give them something like a bank account number? What do you guys do when you do person to person buying/selling? I would like a safe and secure transaction soo..what's the best way to go about that? Sorry, kind of a dumb ass I guess. hehehe. Thanks a lot!

easiest way is to send them a 'request for money' through paypal. all you need is the email address they use for their account. just select 'request money' at the top of the main paypal window, the rest is pretty straightforward smiling smiley
