Ain't that the fucking truth, they have no talented females wrestlers on Smackdown now, except for Gail Kim when she comes

one of my old favorite indie guys got signed to WWE, im sure they'll have a grand time burying him...

yep smiling smiley

01/17/09 4:28 PM

Oh, yeah, we'll see how that goes
Bob Holly just got released, all those Attitude era guys are going, D-Lo Brown, Val Venis
I swear if they release Goldust anytime soon I will personally drive down to Stamford and shoot up the whole building

01/17/09 4:30 PM

Funaki is the ONLY jobber from the attitude era still employed.

01/17/09 4:34 PM

Oh yeah, I forgot about him, in case you couldn't tell I am not a big Smackdown guy

01/18/09 1:13 PM

I'm surprised Val lasted this long, since they changed him from IC champ to mega jobber.

01/18/09 2:14 PM

Fo sho, he wasn't half of what he use to be, and I think Hardcore Holly was really racking up the injuries, D-Lo on the other hand I feel is a loss, he was still pretty good and they definitely could have used him

Why? tonight was the first time I haven't watched in a while

I used to be a big fan and still am to a degree.

I'm glad to see CM Punk utilized so well. If/when his face character runs out of steam, I hope they allow him the opportunity to really flourish as a heel circa ROH/IWA. That arrogant-straightedge aspect is sorely missing: case in point, the microphone incident. And now that Michaels isn't wrestling every week, I find that he's usually the one pulling off the match of the night.

And holy shit, Randy Orton + promos = gold.

i looooooooooooooooooved punk's last ROH title run. it was fucking awesome. and i loved how he used to pull out all the super old school heel tricks in his matches. too bad he doesnt have that kind of respect for wrestling anymore. his WWF finisher is stolen btw, though im sure you already knew that winking smiley

hey, did you go to the ROH show at the cow palace per chance?

Obviously the WM25 MITB ladder match has yet to be set, but I'm banking (no pun intended) on Mr. Kennedy and MVP participating...

...with MVP winning and possibly carrying his title shot all the way to WM26. It would be nice to see him go to RAW in the draft & in that year between WM25 & 26, build him up on his recent face push, get Cena to make an all-but-certain heel turn & make a program between MVP/Cena. I bet Cena will be champ going into next year & by that time I could see MVP being the one to end him (a la Angle over The Rock back in the day).

Anyone agree w/this "prediction". I know shit changes within WWE basically week to week anymore. I'll check back.

Kenta Kobashi, I can only assume.

He needs to pull off the Pepsi Plunge in a WWE ring sometime...although I can understand that they probably don't want their rising star to blow out his knees.

Never been to a ROH show.

Man, it was so awesome to have been at that PWG show and then have Colt Cabana show up out of nowhere. One of the best PWG shows I ever went to.

Natalya has a SICK version of the sharpshooter. I want to see her wrestle more often.

03/05/09 7:33 AM

^ thats too cool you got to go!!! i'd like to see ANY girl actually wrestle more often lol.

omg i hella forgot about that!!!
i honestly dont miss jimmy rave that much. i think he got too used to being in a stable and lost his developing solo character. thats just my opinion though. he just didnt seem able to get into a good feud after the embassy. then again, you could blame shitty booking for that too.
(see you in hell gabe!!!!!)

so glad to see everybody supporting their indie promotions grinning smiley

I don't know man. I don't follow WWE anymore. It's WrestleMania sesaon and I don't care. I stopped caring after WMXX. Remember when Benoit and Guerrero were world champs? That's the last time I was really into it... 2004 I think.

03/09/09 5:50 AM

I kind of follow it these days, but I usually end up buying WM on DVD anyway.

Observer is reporting Andrew "Test" Martin died. According to the audio update, he was found with Kelly Kelly's wallet...possible suicide maybe?

Source link.

Could be anything, especially since he violated the WWE's Wellness Program in 2007 and was arrested for DUI in 2008.

It's disheartening to have so many wrestlers end up dead at such a young age. There really needs to be a change, a union, an off-season, SOMETHING. The business breeds an unhealthy circus lifestyle and they really need to reassess everything before adding another name to their mandatory deceased list. Sure, decisions are made by the individual but with its given history, the business has always been the catalyst and a gateway to self-destruction.

03/31/09 8:46 PM

so who do you guys think is going to induct steve austin in the hall of fame? i dont give a shit about mania, but im always stoked for the hall of fame grinning smiley

OH HALL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my guess: bret hart.

04/01/09 8:56 AM

I'd say possibly Vince.

As far as WM goes this year, I want to see Taker/HBK but nothing else on the card interests me.

04/01/09 10:41 AM

honestly, it's pretty lack luster for being billed as a milestone mania and all. kinda weird.

i never though of vince lol. i thought mike tyson of all people, but not vince XD. i think JR should do it, but he's doing bill watts, which is a huge deal for him im sure.
