Also, I finally saw the original The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo yesterday, and I'm going to be watching The Girl Who Played With Fire later today

12/29/11 1:36 PM

We Need to Talk About Kevin - last night and it was bloody impressive and disturbing
Kill List - i plan to see tonight.

12/30/11 4:04 AM

Beetlejuice
A Raisin In The Sun
Wake In Fright

01/05/12 12:37 PM

Watched three the other day-

Full Metal Jacket
Blue Velvet
Taxi Driver

Just for the record, I didn't get the urge to "off" myself after watching all three in a row (those are some depressing ass movies).

01/05/12 4:18 PM

Kill List was so crap.

I saw Paranormal Activity last night and I still prefer the 3rd one.

And Balada Triste of Alex de la Iglesia tonight.. Amazing as expected.

01/06/12 4:30 AM

Van Helsing
The Thief Of Bagdad

01/06/12 7:39 PM

Finally saw the American version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo last week, and I loved it. In some ways I felt it was even better than the original, even though I still hold the original in very high regard.

01/07/12 4:31 PM

Not the latest but a week ago..

Bronson - a kickass movie.

01/13/12 3:46 PM

Balada Triste (very alex de la iglesia, a gem)
I Saw the Devil (south korean from the director of a tale of two sisters with the actor from oldboy - very wild, loved it)
A Dangerous Method (Cronenberg - liked it quite much)
The Monk (not bad not good however far from the book)

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes - I loved it. Much better than I expected.

01/15/12 2:07 PM

Caught "The Damned United" with Michael Sheen in it the other night on a movie channel, thought it was a really good film... about Soccer and management/business end of it. I don't know anything about who the real life people are that the characters are based on and considering I'm not much of a sports fan but i enjoyed it.

01/15/12 2:24 PM

Snowtown- pretty fucked up movie.

01/15/12 6:10 PM

Well, one of the latest I've seen: Robogeisha

It was... interesting.. interesting indeed grinning smiley

01/16/12 3:29 AM

Dracula (the Bela Lugosi version of course)

The Misfits (Marilyn Monroe's last movie, and Clark Gable was in it as well). If you haven't seen this one, I suggest you check it out.

01/16/12 5:15 PM

I love The Misfits, Joan-

I just watched "We need to talk about Kevin", expecting, from a bad review, some demon-child, cheesy horror movie, as a excuse to stuff myself with icecream in the movie theater.

Really good movie, hopeless and scary as hell. Psicological horror is the only real one.

01/21/12 8:53 AM

Limitless... very interesting.

01/22/12 2:32 AM

Watched part of Pan's Labyrinth last night. I liked it. I recorded it so I can watch it right through.

01/24/12 3:28 AM

Gladiator

01/25/12 2:23 PM

Watched Memento again...... fanfuckingtastic film.

01/25/12 2:46 PM

Timecrimes (Spanish: Los Cronocrímenes)

I recommend it to fans of the twilight zone, the outer limits, and the night gallery. It’s Country of origin is Spain, so the spoken language is Spanish, set your English subtitles.

TGWDT (finally) and it was really good

Same here, loved it

The Time Machine.... yet again!! Although this copy is a bit weird. I recorded it off the television a few weeks ago, watched it today and discovered that somehow two scenes had been shown not in the right sequence. Don't know how the tv station did that one...

02/02/12 10:09 AM

Finally got my copy of Drive on blu-ray...... I was sexually aroused on how beautiful it looked on my TV.

02/03/12 6:00 PM

real steel, i was simply expecting some fun but it was disappointingly childish

02/04/12 3:13 AM

Today I watched part of a movie called "Seven Days To Noon". It was a British movie made in 1950. What I saw of it was most interesting.

02/04/12 3:23 AM

Just finished "Tucker & Dale vs EVIL"

campy is an overstatement, 88 minutes of my life I will never get back...

02/06/12 3:52 PM

Saw one I had never heard of called Wasabi a week or so ago. It was a fun action/drama/comedy movie. It had Jean Reno, and I'm a big fan of his so I had to watch it (although I still refuse to watch the new Pink Panther movies).

The only thing stranger than seeing Jean Reno walking around Japan was hearing all these Japanese people fluently speaking French with him. Kind of weird, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it smiling smiley
