Alien. Haven't seen that movie in so long!!
Desk Set. A Golden Years of Hollywood classic!!
Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief. I enjoyed it very much. I don't care if it is a kids' movie!!

I liked Percy Jackson, too smiling smiley And Desk Set is definitely a classic!

J. Edgar. Very well done movie, but you have to wonder how much of it was actually true or Hollywood invention since he was always trying to make himself out to be a lot more badass than he actually was...

The Illustrated Man. Of course I liked the book better, but they did they best they could with it in 1969, and they did a pretty good job.

Rope. I had never heard of it until about an hour before I watched it, and now I'm sad because of that. It was a great film, and I'm pretty sure the whole thing only had around five shots or something ridiculous like that. It's a shame this one is never mentioned when talking about Hitchcock.

Mission: Impossible; Ghost Protocol. Pretty badass, as Mission: Impossible movies are won't to be. Except for the second one... That one wasn't as good as any of the others.

Prowler!! You mention two of my favourite movies: The Illustrated Man; and Rope. I have read The Illustrated Man and seen the movie a couple of times. I enjoyed the movie. I love Rope!!! I saw it on television a long time ago. It's brilliant!!

Today I watched Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I enjoyed it very much. My son bought me the 4 Indiana Jones movies box set last year.

Last night I saw 21 Jump Street. It was WAY better than I thought it'd be. I laughed out loud quite a few times and some of the cameos were awesome. I'd definitely recommend it for a good laugh.

Finished watching Pan's Labyrinth. It's a very dark movie, very brutal, but fascinating.

Watched some of Escape From New York. It's an interesting little movie. Haven't seen it in years.

Haywire. Cold, Brutal and Relentless with a truly Exceptional soundtrack

double bill with The American.

My feelings exactly.
The Avengers... i am missing something, because i liked it, but it did not blow me away.
The Raven... i thought Cusack was great, and the movie was entertaining but not particularly original. I would probobly watch it again on DVD.
Can't say the same for the other 2 flicks...

Weird cast and weird film in general.

There's crazy colors all over the place like Dick Tracy, at times you feel like you're watching a rubix cube in action.

They've blended all sorts of genres and styles, you've got comic book and anime influences, a bit of Kill Bill-Tarantino and even Westerns. Very odd mix.

Set pieces in the film all look like origami or something too, it actually took a few minutes to figure out what the hell i was watching but yet i kept watching and couldn't turn away.

There was something very unexpectedly awesome about this movie and i couldn't really tell you what for all the weird oddball shit it had to offer.

Oh and did i mention it was narrated by Mike Patton!?

I had wanted to see this for some time. I had high hopes for this one. But NO, it was a stinker, borderline unwatchable.

WOW, OK... uh-huh.

Boring for most of the movie, but the last 20 minutes or so had me squirming in my seat and cringing.
