07/10/12 6:38 AM

Alien, again, then wiped it off my hard drive. Needed to make a bit of room...

07/10/12 10:20 AM

Dark Matter

07/14/12 6:08 AM

Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, the Brendan Fraser version. Just a fun little movie.

Cool Runnings. This is a particular favourite of mine, and being an Olympic year (albeit a summer Olympic year) it was played on a local tv station.

Contraband. Such a good movie, not anything like I'd expect, and I give it 9.5/10

07/20/12 6:01 AM

Rat Race. It's an updated version of It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World and my son is enjoying it very much.

07/25/12 9:16 AM

Watched Valkyrie with my dad the other night, and then a two hour documentary about the operation last night. Those two films gave me a whole new pride in my German heritage.

07/25/12 9:26 AM

Watched Drive again yesterday. Seemed much shorter the second time through, probably because I knew the story already. Btw, I didn't realize that was Bryan Cranston...

07/25/12 1:50 PM

Watched Kurosawa's first film, Sanshiro Sugata. Wow, cinematography has come along way since then. The story was interesting even though it was simple.

07/25/12 9:40 PM

Went retro tonight- Debbie Does Dallas

07/28/12 6:09 AM

Peggie Sue Got Married. I don't like a lot of chick flicks but there are a couple of exceptions. Love John Barry's music.

And Now For Something Completely Different. What a silly movie!!! grinning smiley

I finally saw Ghost World uninterrupted for the first time ever the other night. Found it much more enjoyable than the first time I tried to watch it many moons ago.

08/01/12 1:08 PM

Watched "Take Shelter" yesterday. Very good film.

The Colour Purple. Love that movie!!!

08/04/12 1:40 AM

21 Jump Street yesterday. Absolutely hilarious.
One For The Money tonight. Not my kinda movie.

08/06/12 6:35 AM

Been overdosing on Planet Of The Apes lately. One of our local tv stations has been playing all the movies.

Also watched The Andromeda Strain, the original 1971 movie.

And, "Dementia 13" a Roger Corman classic.

My son just finished watching "Nacho Libre". It's Jack Black, so of course it's silly. smiling smiley

^^ That's on my Rod Classics list! We love to watch it, my son Mattias and I. Lucas is still too little to enjoy it, he loves Star Wars though.

Watched The Dark Knigh Rises twice. Loved it. And I cried like a Belieber at Bieber's Farewell Concert.

The Candidate & Magic Mike double-feature at gold class cinema. o.O

I'm going to leave this thread now.

Elle S'Appelait Sarah. Infuriating, frustrating and very sad
but with little rays of light throughout, especially right at the end.
The whole thing beautifully scored by Max Richter.

Child's Play. I've never ever seen it before, it was on television the other night, so I recorded it and we watched it yesterday.

Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes, and Battle For The Planet Of The Apes. Haven't seen those before either and they were most interesting. They just neatly tied into the original movie.

Die Unsichtbare (the unseen) - kind of german "black swan", good actors, bad dialogs, very simple with all the metaphors, didn't like it because of them

He's just no that into you. refreshing after the last mentioned, but at most time boring. yet, some true words in it.

the ides of march. FINALLY! liked this one a lot! not a second too long, great playing, don't know why "the democrats" shoud be deconstructed, but ok.

Star Trek: Generations, which I bought on Thursday. Enjoyed it very much.
