The Coon-Cat thing was funny.

The Lord of Rings episode is on now--this one's hilarious.

01/07/11 4:43 PM

I can not WAIT until the Book of Mormon comes out. I'm planning a trip to New York to see it.

I FUCKING LOVE Butters.

01/19/11 8:16 AM

I liked the first part of the series, but the ones with Coon and Friends were pretty crap.

I am one of the rare breeds that likes South Park and Family Guy (I just needed to address this). For South Park, my favorite episodes are "About Last Night", "Fantastic Easter Special", "Chickenlover", "Gnomes", "Scott Tenorman Must Die", "Fishsticks", "The China Problem" and many many more. I love the entire series, but these are some of my faves.

02/11/11 11:37 AM

I've seen every single episode.

02/11/11 11:51 AM

I work at a Hot Topic and the day after "Ungroundable" aired the entire company was talking about it. We all thought it was hilarious.

I like them both as well. I think there's a certain "fanboy" mentality among fans of the shows.

I much prefer South Park though, sometimes the cut-off gags in FG can be funny but they waaay overdo them.

I like going through South Park episodes and discovering how funny they still are years after they were made. For a show that does a lot of episodes relating to current events, it's nice to see that the humor doesn't suffer when the events covered are no longer relevant.

Agreed. South Park is more intelligent, I enjoy how they poke-fun at people, events, etc. while not specifically saying it, if that makes sense? It's not as blunt, you definitely have think a little bit with some of their parody's. I like entire episodes of South Park as opposed to specific scenes from Family Guy.

yeah but again for the most part what they do is reproduce popular gossip/slander topics filtered through a bit of common sense (at best)

its only intelligent when placed next to family guy (which is just shit)

You also make a very good point. You want intelligent humor, then you need The Onion.

Tonight's show is pretty damn funny. Love the dept store scene.

04/30/11 12:38 AM

Loved it. Had all the hallmarks of a great South Park episode. Credit to them for being able to make fun of the Apple brand without buying into that stupid PC vs. Mac brand war.

Yeah, SP is off to a good start. Something to look forward to every Wednesday.

that's more or less what topical comedy is.

I loved Human CentiPad! This season is off to a good start.
Very good interview with Matt and Trey

05/01/11 9:46 PM

South Park needs to air the Osama episode

05/02/11 7:47 PM

Can't wait to see South Park's take on Bin Laden' death.

05/02/11 10:59 PM

HumancentiPad was much better than that Mysterion bullshit near the end of last season. I'm surprised.

05/04/11 8:32 PM

Tyler Perry is the greatest threat to mankind.

I love it.

05/04/11 10:18 PM

FunnyBot was awesome. Hope he makes a return.

Loved the Doctor Who reference.

'salright. Think I prefer the apple episode. Also, you can tell how close to airing they wrote the show. Seriously, putting Obama in the East Room to talk about a matter of national security?

05/05/11 8:42 PM

I love how FunnyBot kept saying "Awwwwwkward!" That is one of the most overused and unfunny pop-culture sayings, and the show pointed out how lame it is.

05/06/11 8:41 PM

^Dont get me wrong, even on lesser episodes South Park has all the right targets. "Awwwwwwkward" whether or not its said is one of the most effortless ways to get a polite laugh. And I neednt comment on Tyler Perry.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to the rest of this season. Giving them like 24 hours to write and produce each episode is having some interesting effects.

05/07/11 8:39 AM

Just re-watched it and it was even better the second time.

"Timmah Timmah Timmah!" at the award show was another highlight.

Never heard of Tyler Perry before I saw this episode.

05/12/11 4:01 AM

Yesterday's show was pretty good. Lots of good laughs. Loved the Canadian royal wedding.

I've enjoyed all three shows, but I don't think any of them will be regarded as classics, IMHO.

05/12/11 5:44 AM

The human centipad episode was good, the Tyler Perry one I didn't enjoy so much although that's probably because I had never heard of him so didn't get the satire.

05/12/11 7:40 PM

Royal Pudding- I laughed so hard at the end that rum shot out of my nose.
