As for a vile human villain, Brett, the leader of the group of nasty little teen thugs in Eden lake wins that for me. Never before has a character in a film made me feel such hatred. I remember watching it in the cinema and totally wanting to punch his lights out, a well acted and hella nasty character. Eden Lake is definately a film worth checking if you haven't seen it, a real gritty and disturbing UK horror.
