Thought I'd give The Hunger Games a whirl by Suzanne Collins.

It's like The Running Man and The Long Walk rolled into one, I guess she must be a Stephen King fan......

04/21/12 4:34 PM

Yeah, Mockingjay.

04/21/12 5:24 PM

Sacre Bleu, A Comedy D'Art by Christopher Moore. A wildly funny character driven historical fantasy tale about a circle of French Impressionist artists with the mystery of Vincent Van Gogh's suicide/murder being the focal point. If you've never read anything by Moore, Lamb: The Gospel According To Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal was his highest achievement, but I'm enjoying the new book very much!

Now I'm reading this one.

04/26/12 9:34 PM

^^ I love Christopher Lamb but am waiting for paperback. Sounds great.

I'm still reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver. She's one of my favourite authors, I love all of her books, but I just can't move through this one. Not sure why, enjoy it while reading it but just don't seem to pick it up often.

04/27/12 4:06 PM

Finally onto Mockingjay. I'm surprised how much I've enjoyed them to be honest.

04/28/12 10:15 AM

I'm currently reading From a Buick 8 after finishing Gerald's Game last week. I guess I'm on another Stephen King kick here lately.

Got my copy of The Wind Through The Keyhole by Mr King yesterday, can't wait to meet up with them all again smiling smiley

05/24/12 11:23 PM

The Terror.

05/25/12 3:33 PM

I started reading The Wind Through the Keyhole, then decided to read the series from the begining again.

Now onto The Wastelands and thoroughly enjoying every minute of it grinning smiley

Just finished reading the 50 Shades of Gray trilogy thumbs down

Wasn't that impressed after the first one, but when I start something I usually finish it and somehow I hoped it would get better.
It didn't.
Maybe I was expecting something different when I started reading it, but even if I wouldn't have been expecting anything, the books just aren't that good.
The characters are annoying and the writing is bad (seriously, I've read better fanfics on the net, which says alot about her writing).

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD:

What really pissed me off though was that I got the impression that everyone who is into some sort of kinky stuff must have some mental issues and had a bad childhood.
Plus, the cheesy happy ending almost made me puke, seriously.

All in all I really don't recommend it.

Oh, and if I ever have to read the words 'Oh Ana' again, I can't guarantee for anyones safety...

Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett

Though I've had this book for a decade I find it funny that I decided to actually read it this year since it's about the apocolypse. It's quite funny.

06/16/12 7:19 AM

Finally getting the chance to read The Wind Through The Keyhole!

I'm now halfway through this. After starting A game with thrones in march, with the intention of AT LEAST finishing A clash of kings before season 2 started, I hadn't stopped the series since. I've got no idea what i'm going to do after i'm done!

Currently reading, Philip Kerr - Berlin Noir.

06/27/12 10:02 PM

Sadly enough, it's not a book but rather a short story but if you have 30 minutes or so to spare, I would recommend The Veldt by Ray Bradbury. I read very very early this morning before I went to sleep.
