K5000 member Joined: 03/18/08 Location: Helsinki Finland Posts: 352	Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online PC beta Preordered this baby through Steam to play the online beta which lasts up to Feb 28th I think. I haven't had this much fun in a Battlefield game since the golden days of the Desert Combat mod for BF1942. And it's only one game mode and map on the beta! Can't wait for the final game to be released, though I'll have to juggle between that and Final Fantasy XIII, due out about the same time. edit: Oh, and while two "schools" might form, I seriously think this is the better game when compared to Modern Warfare 2. The destruction (of buildings, trees and setpieces) is amazing, it really changes the FPS play dynamic when you find that what used to be a good cover for the end of the match, if you wish, won't be here. Also bought Modern Warfare 2, spec ops is so much god damn fun. And Gamefly just sent me Aliens vs. Predator. So yeah, I've got all kinds of shit to play.

kdrcraig member fuck yeah Joined: 03/03/08 Location: Phoenixville PA Posts: 2,792	Working on Darksiders Almost done with Dante's Inferno, which is a blast Modern Warfare 2, taking me a while to get through the campaign, spec ops is just so much more fun God of War III starting next Tuesday, I doubt I'll play anything else once I have that until I'm completely done with it.

The battles take your eyes all over the place, it's hard to watch some of the brilliant moves the characters do. The dialog is a little strange though, but I know that's kinda normal w/F.F.. And I like the diverse strategies that must be made. Different from previous titles. Already addicted to the game-play after 7 hours. It's beautiful eye candy.

I got to that part only a few days after going through my breakup with my ex, and being that I'm so torn by all of the stress behind this and other things in my life (I am an emotional wreck) I got to Ravenholm (where the headcrabs are taking over EVERYTHING and people are killing each other and themselves in every crack and corner of the disgusting town) and I just couldn't handle it. Not once in my life have I approached a movie or videogame that I considered too violent for me to handle. And for some reason... My stomache just hasn't agreed with this sequence. I turned on the cheats for HL2 and tried going further... but now I find myself playing through a game without knowing what anything means... which is pointless. I give up on it. However, I did turn on PORTAL and let me just say THIS GAME IS FUCKING AMAZING! I absolutely loved every second of Portal. Highly recommended. And apparently Portal2 is coming out....????? I'm so excited if so. So I'm currently playing Portal. Oh, and I am playing MW2 on Xbox live quite a bit also. And tonight, for the first time in a month, gonna play some more Starcraft. Quite excited to re-engage my love in that game, as well.
