Odd, i hadn't read anything about PS3 issues yet obviously not that it's impervious or anything. It was Xbox that people were bringing up frame rate issues and such within the last couple of days since reading up on article comments and what not.

Hopefully they figure out what the deal is here, would be a shame for a game of this caliber to be doing this.

EDIT: Alright so i actually own this game now (FUCK YEAH!) and let me tell you it is AMAZING! and so far so good on PS3.. absolutely no problems at all.

I've completed my first traffic case in the story, barely scratched the surface.

What kind of PS3 you have? Slim or Fat? HDD?

Slim 250GB.

Finished traffic cases and am a few deep into Homicide now, so far getting 3 to 4 star ratings and answering most questions correctly/finding majority of clues.

Story is getting very interesting, very detailed, it's as if Rockstar developed this game themselves. Can't imagine the amount of R and D that went in to this from Team Bondi, everything from the pavement is just insane in this game (if you care about that sort of thing), you can instantly tell the difference between old and freshly paved roads, you can see the wear and tear on the streets with all the cracks and patch work that's been done. I'm impressed with just the vast locale of L.A. that you get to peruse. Rent this game NOW or BUY it, whatever you must do to get a hold of this work of art.

80%'d it or there abouts, story missions are finished as well as the couple of DLC ones that i got (took me about 2 weeks), street missions are finished.

I've even got the majority of achievements, still working away at it. Need to find all the film reels and I've only got like 5 or something lol they're well hidden! there's no way you can just happen upon them you basically need a cheat sheet. Landmark locations I'm only missing a few and as far as unlocked cars I'm just over half way to the 90 some odd count of them.
