Most difficult games you've played

It took me a while for old tomb raider games too. The graphics made it mostly hard to see which cliff you have to jump etc. The newer ones were all pretty obvious imo.
I remember that I was stuck for a while in Silent Hill for PSX when you´re in that school doing the piano puzzle xD I probably would have never solved it without internet. Also the first Final Fantasy games demanded a lot of patience. But so far I completed all the games I´ve played  (without cheats!) | |

Any shooter where I must aim with the gamepad, lol. I'm a pc player at heart and the cotroller feels like a masochistic contraption to me, I never learned to properly aim with an analog stick. Really hard games? Some puzzle adventures back from the nineties, like Myst come to mind, lol. Well games from the nineties in general, games that didn't hold your hand, didn't come with on screen prompts or hihglighted objects to make everything easier. And there wasn't no internet to look up for walkthroughs.

Battletoads is the only game that I have never been able to finish due to difficulty. Seriously the hardest game I have ever played in my life. | |
