working on playing Ness just because he's fun to play.

I think SSBB was overhyped and quite underwhelming when I first played it. I didn't expect to be blown away and I wasn't.

But its still fun with multiplayer I guess...

its one of the few nintendo games series ive never really liked.

the gamecube one i found very hard to control - i might rent the wii one and see how it plays rather than buy

I'm still addicted to this game, and even though three years has passed, there's still lots of people playing it online at Basic Brawl. I usually use Snake, Ike and Wolf for serious matches. I still have love for Link, Mario, Kirby and Pikachu though. Then again, Pikachu can certainly spam like crazy. I also tend to kill time with the taunt parties online whenever I really have nothing better to do.
