Im surprised I haven't come across this yet, but if you're a concert fiend like myself, then post your recent experiences here.....
I'll start it off with:

Chris Vrenna : Zombie Fetish Ball

Which was last night, it was a lot of fun, it was like a scene out of the Thriller video with the costumes...great tunes, beautiful women, and zombies, can't ask for moresmiling smiley

Coheed and Cambria

04/10/10 11:35 AM

My last concert was the best concert ever:

Nine Inch Nails @ The Wiltern

04/10/10 12:22 PM

I think it was the NINJA show, way back in June :/

I'm not really a big rock concert-goer... I only go to see my most favourite bands.

04/10/10 12:46 PM

I saw Muse. I love that band. One of the best concerts ever!!! smiling smiley

04/10/10 1:00 PM

Puscifer at the Vic (only the first night, though). Incredibly polished, more badass than I'd expected, and a total visual overload.

04/10/10 10:28 PM

I saw Overkill last weekend.
I don't know if there are a lot of Thrash Metal fans on here but all those other bands, Megadeth, Exodus, Testament, Slayer, etc. aren't even fucking close

04/10/10 11:48 PM

I went to Future Music Festival in early March. Many bands and Dj's but I managed to see The Prodigy, David Guetta, Franz Ferdinand, and Stafford Brothers + Timmy Trumpet. Was one insane night. The lighting went out for a bit during Prodigy's performance but other than that they were amazing!

As for a concert; I guess it would have to be Placebo who I saw last. Steve signed my poster and concert ticket after the concert ended.

Was right at barrier for both Future Music Festival, and Placebo smiling smiley

The Temper Trap w/ Kissinger Trail

- Just got home from this tonight and this show was amazing, Kissinger Trail is a dynamite band that will go far amongst the Indie crowd, if you're into that sort of thing, check them out...I was too busy drinking wine out in my car and watching a few cars get towed in front of me, which I found sadly quite amusing, then The Temper Trap came on and they are a great band that has an soothing sound, the singer reminds me of an asian version of The Neville Brothers, if any of you NIN fans know who they are, but check any of these guys out....can't wait for tomorrows round of shows...It seems a lot of bands coming around AZ are hitting up Coachella, Shit how I WANNA be there, but then again, 50min Sets, that's some "Weak Sauce..." only if I lived in South Cal would I spend 300 Bones to go...I mean FAITH NO MORE, Them Crooked Vultures, Atoms For Peace (Thom Yorke), Gary Numan (w/ Robin), Devo (w/ Freese) and so many more, damn they need longer Set times........Have fun to those whom are going....okay I'm gonna shut up now...still feelin that WINEsmiling smiley

04/17/10 1:03 AM

White Rabbits

Okay People: GO SEE LIVE MUSIC!!!!!!!
Seriously, I can't be the only person in this NIN forum who goes to a shit-ton of concerts....ugh!
Anyway, just got home from this show, drank another bottle of wine w/ some beer and had fun watching this band, whom I've known about for awhile, like last night the show was wall to wall packed, maybe cause us Desert rats are too poor to go to Coachella, since both White Rabbits and Temper Trap are gonna be there, the Rabbits even mentioned "man, this is a packed show..." since they do come around here quite often, for what reason I dunno?
It's been a nice couple days of music; I wish this could be an everyday thing, but I do live in the fuckin desertsad smiley
So now it's your turn....

February 4th: Rammstein, Wembley Arena

10/10 incredible show, the band sounded great, the theatrics were huge epic and at time hilarious. The setlist was awesome, best show I've ever been to, with NIN at the O2 Arena last year coming in a close second smiling smiley

Next show I'm seeing is Jonsi next month grinning smiley looking forward to it

04/18/10 11:40 AM

The Fall of Troy, this past Thursday.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. Unparalleled energy, practically a perfect setlist, and meeting members of the band sure cranks up the experience. Its so inspiring to rub shoulders and interact with your heroes.

I'm going to go ahead and say that concert was better than the LITS Tour... of course the visuals on LITS will never be topped, but in terms of all-round experience, TFOT > NIN

04/18/10 1:48 PM

Alice In Chains--Boston

04/27/10 11:07 AM

Nils Petter Molvær @ Szczecin Music Fest

Had some nice moments, but stillo not my kind of music (my dad actually takes me on some concerts without telling where, so this was one of such occasions)...

04/28/10 10:48 PM

Pearl Jam with Ben Harper and Liam Finn

Went and saw The Disco Biscuits in Atlantic City this past Saturday, worst show I've seen them play out of the 24 I've been to.

05/02/10 10:29 AM

Puscifer, back in March. Still obsessing about it.

05/02/10 3:39 PM

Korn w/ Five Finger Death Punch at the beginning of April. 2cents opened for them, and totally stole the show. I'm also going to see Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper on May 21, Dream Theater and Iron Maiden on July 3, and I'll be going to the Mayhem Music Festival in Montreal in July.

05/04/10 8:13 AM

Ok Go last night in Philly. Such a great band to see live, so much fun!

These guys also played a bowling alley near my house called Brooklyn Bowl. Just opened up this past summer Snoop Dogg played there the week before. Must be sick knocking some pins down while listening to Gogol or Snoop Dogg playing live right behind you.

I've heard of the Brooklyn Bowl, it seems to be popping up everywhere on Tour Lists and being from NY, I was like "what the fuck is this," since i've never heard of it before, I was thinking it was a small amphitheater, not an actual Bowling Alley, so do they have a stage inside or is outside, cause damn that's got to be some big venue to have both Bowling and Concert hall

05/06/10 10:18 PM

Its actually not that big. It's indoors, there's a little section where they have a stage and GA. Probably fits about 200 people, then there's an area for bowling. I believe it's 16 or so lanes. Each lane has an HD television above it that plays the show as it's happening. I mean all you have to do is turn around to watch it but it's still bad ass. Then they have the restaurant area with food supplied by Blue Ribbon. Fucking amazing man.

Sleepy Eyes of Death (CD release party)@ Neumos in Seattle 4/30/10...good stuff with lots o'fog machines, great lighting & walls of synths

05/10/10 5:14 AM

Last Friday night we saw three local covers bands: Stone, Black Label, 46 Clicks. It was a lot of fun. Songs included Rock and Roll (Led Zeppelin); Enter Sandman (Metallica); some Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC, Stevie Wright, other classic Australian stuff, etc. It was a fun night.
