NIN is my fav band but depending on my mood Radiohead can jump up from 2nd to 1st in my favs. The music is just so brilliant, meaningful, and unfortunately....depressing- but thats what I like. Some anti-fans complain about Thom Yorkes "whiny" vocals but his voice is what seals the deal for me. Its real. Its authentic pain. Radiohead (and NIN) make music that sounds like someone actually gets it. like they have been in my head crawling around and picking apart my memories, my worries,my regrets and my pain- and they have made art out of it. I can only wish I was only one eighth as artistically talented as these people. My dream job would be to do anything to support either of these artists. Sometimes it seems these sounds they create are all I have in this world. When everyone else can disappoint me...they never do. Thank you Radiohead and thank you NIN.

I've seen their documentary Scotch Mist. I just haven't been able to see them live yet. I heard Amanda Palmer ruined a bunch of Radiohead songs and decided to release it as an album. I won't be buying that one. You don't have to like her cuz she toured with Trent or because she's marrying Neil Gaiman. It's a free country. A lot of her music is terrible. That's why her label dropped her. That and her belly. I just find her so trashy and annoying. She has no class. She's not Tori Amos.

I've had all their stuff for years, but never really listened to more than "Creep" and "My Iron Lung," but when I was in France last semester, I started listening to them a LOT...and for the last 8 months or so, I can't get enough. Fucking incredible, beautiful, awesome band. I'm so insightful, aren't I? ><

gonzo84 member Joined: 12/07/08 Posts: 1,059	I was just asking a friend yesterday about the song "These Are My Twisted Words," and whether or not it will be included in the 8 tracks or not...even though it's a good song they released in 09, it sounds more like a Demo (B-side) than an actual album track, but I guess we'll see. I can't wait though, I pre-ordered and am excited for Saturday!!!
