08/15/08 11:30 PM

Looks like they're playing better sets this time around opposed to back in May. In Limbo would've been amazing to hear.

08/16/08 12:49 AM

Can't wait to see them on the 22nd in San Francisco.

08/16/08 8:13 AM

Well, the sets are better, just not that much variety. Kid A was played the other night, but there still isn't that that much variety compared to say, Wilco or somebody.

08/16/08 8:17 PM

eleven days!@~

If I see Radiohead live, thats my top 5 of all time seen live. And I didn't expect to see RATM live back in 2005. I must see Radiohead on their Australian tour.

08/16/08 9:35 PM

i've always liked a few radiohead tracks but never fully appreciated them until now.

'pyramid song' 'exit music for a film' and 'there there' are constantly on repeat when i llsten to them.

08/16/08 9:36 PM

I want Pyramid Song at my funeral

08/16/08 9:47 PM

yeah, pyramid song is a good one to end your life on.i try not to cry when i listen to it but the tears come anyway.

'talk show host' is great too.

08/17/08 12:44 AM

First time ever seeing Radiohead, at long last! Show in Toronto was amazing but the Molson Amphitheatre is the portal to hell and I actually had good seats - no one under any circumstances should ever play at this venue ever again. I can't imagine which band I would make another exception for...

Anyway, I was so happy they played Pyramid Song - I really wasn't expecting it as they hadn't played it the previous week in Mtl. Idioteque was also amazing as well as the reworked more "dancy" Everything in its Right Place at the end. Still I would have loved to hear Fake Plastic Trees and Karma Police...oh well, I guess I'll just have to go see them again, God willing I cna get tickets! smiling smiley

I gotta be honest i don't really like Radiohead. However Videotape is pretty fucking amazing.

08/17/08 7:47 AM

I love Amnesiac. Other pretty good stuff: Kid A, OK Computer, Hail To The Thief, In Rainbows.

Other than those albums, I don't care much for them either.

08/17/08 2:16 PM

All their albums are great besides Pablo Honey, its just a mediocore alternative/grunge album. Its truly amazing how they went from that to say Kid A. The band really knows how to evolve with each record. The only records that really sound or are similar are Kid A and Amnesiac but then again, those are my two favorite records by them.

08/17/08 1:20 PM

I haven't heard the new album enough yet to judge it. Apart from that, OK Computer and Kid A are my favorites.

08/17/08 2:23 PM

I really missed out on Radiohead until Kid A came out. I'd heard "Paranoid Android" before (and now love it), but that was about it. I've come to like them over the years, and now have a strange affinity for In Rainbows. I haven't even listened to Amnesiac or Hail to the Thief but it's on my To Do list.

On a random note, I'm listening to Launchcast at work and Fake Plastic Trees just came on. What are the odds?

08/17/08 2:59 PM

Afraid I thought In Rainbows was the biggest disappointment, it grew on my slightly but it is now gathering dust somewhere.

08/17/08 6:46 PM

My favorite band. Yes, I like Radiohead more than Nine Inch Nails. Blasphemy! Kid A and OK Computer are my two favorite albums. In Rainbows is probably my number three solely out of Radiohead albums. It's wonderful.

Saw them on the 12th in Camden. Great show, although I was a bit angry when it turned out that they played Paranoid Android and How to Disappear Completely (the latter of which could have been played instead of Street Spirit) in the same set/encore the following night in Mansfield. sad smiley

08/17/08 7:09 PM

Has anyone heard Easy Star All-Stars cover of this? Theyre a dub/reggae band that also covered Dark Side of the Moon. Its pretty good, worth checking out if your into reggae and Radiohead. Its called Radiodred, lol.

08/17/08 6:29 PM

I could live without hearing a whining thom yorke.

I will withhold the atypical Radiohead fan rage.

As for the reggae Radiohead... eh. Not a huge fan of the genre. I think I might have heard snippets before, though.

pablo honey is just terrible.the only song worth it from there is 'creep'.hail to the thief is my fav album.

Single most overrated band. EVAR.

08/18/08 6:49 PM

I actually like Pablo Honey and I don't think the song "Pop is Dead" is that bad either.

Has anyone downloaded Towering Above the Rest? It's got all the Radiohead b-sides and radio sessions and alot of other stuff on 24 discs.

Most people would say that You and Blow Out are two of the better tracks. Creep is a (live) lottery track any more.

Yeah, I've always preferred You to the audible sleeping pill that is Creep.

I think I prefer them to NIN aswell, OK Computer, KID A and In Rainbows are three perfect albums. Saw them in Victoria Park a while back and they were great, despite the fact i was nowhere near the stage and couldn't really see much. It could have been much better, but then again I'd seen MBVT the day before so my ears were still ringing from that.

Oh and they have the coolest Merchandise there is.

Great band. So many people say they can't stand Thom's whining voice but I think it is an essential part of their music. Well, they are extremely overrated but still amazing musicians.
