Schism was so overplayed when it first came out.I hated the song.

Obviously now my opinion isn't the same lol

So, know how we all love how tickets go on Sale like a week after it's announced? I guess I'm going to have to hold off on my concealed carry course now and keel the money on my pocket

I see Red Rocks in Colorado just got added for two dates...

There goes any hope for them going to Chicago/Wisconsin in between the St. Louis and St. Paul shows.

05/10/10 5:07 PM

Follow the Tool Hotline, there's the rumorville that usually gives information that has the credentials to follow. The Colorado dates were announced a few days ago on there as well as a show in L.A. on JULY 20th...
If this is true, then hopefully they'll hit up AZ again, maybe in Tucson, but I don't care, just come to AZ!!!

I generally go to fourth eye to see whats up. Once it goes into ticketmaster though I consider it "confirmed", lol.

And EDIT: If that LA show comes through (which I think it will), you may be in luck. Leaves a lot of days open to doing some more shows in the south west.

Yeah, a lot of the Tool Hotline rumors are always from Fourth Eye links...it's just easier cause I'll go to NIN Hotline then click on the Tool Hotline Link from theresmiling smiley
And yeah, I'm hoping for that LA show to be true, cause that does leave options open, like I've said before, Maynard and the boys love AZ, so hopefully we'll get lucky!!! Shit WE BETTER GET LUCKY!!! We need it!!!

Do you guys think it will be the same tour as the last 2?? Set, lights, etc??

Hoping for a SouthEast date somewhere .. dang it.

05/11/10 10:09 AM

I would say most likely since both appear to be short tours, lol...

05/11/10 1:15 PM

^^^ Haha! No grinning smiley From what I understand someone at fourtheye . net made that shirt up since some Tool fans complain on forums that they've been playing the same set list for the past four years. grinning smiley...

"With a Tool tour coming up, now is the perfect time to stick it to Tool and buy a very humorous Fourtheye shirt. Patterns available include the classic Lame Setlist shirt and the timeless Fuck Blair shirt, best worn at the Baked Potato on Monday nights. Check out the entire range here!"

Lets see 2006, so only 1 more year to go to hit that 5 year mark. lol

And yeah I think the next concert I go to I'm going to see if I can get a tshirt, I bet Maynard would even find it humorous, he seems like the type of guy that'd only respect discontent... rather than be like his 1 billion other fans "OH MY GOD, I HAVE FIGURED OUT EVERYONE OF YOUR ALBUMS YOU ARE A FUCKING GENIUS I HAVE NAMED MY FIRST BORN SON MAYNARDS AND MY DAUGHTER DICK!"

05/12/10 8:54 AM

I bet Maynard wouldn't even notice what with him way in the back and all lol

I meant more if I actually tried to get his autograph or something... Me and my bro were talkign about it and he said that if he got close enough he'd probably just say, "Hey maynard. FUCK YOU!" I doubt it though...

Who thinks we'll get lucky?

Rolling Stone article

While the band isn't touring behind any new material — its last album was 2006's 10,000 Days — the frontman says Tool are quietly working on a new disc that'll be released "when it's ready." But they're considering testing out some new material live. "We're always writing," Keenan says. "If it comes together, yeah, you'll hear some new stuff. If it's not ready, you won't."

06/12/10 6:19 PM

hmm, i wonder when Maynard made that quote to Rolling Stone? won't there PLEASE be some new material ready for them to lay on us at Red Rocks this June?!? i sure hope so!!!! then again, they could just play Jambi twelve times in a row and i don't think i'd mind one bit... haha! so, umm... anyone need a ticket to the Red Rocks show? crazy me, i bought an extra! pm me!

06/13/10 1:12 PM

Still wondering what the opening band will be...

Anyways, what shows are people going to? Got tickets for St. Charles and Vegas.

06/13/10 3:45 PM

I'm definitely excited to see what happens with Tool in the upcoming years. I would be happy to hear at least one new song soon.

HAHA! I need like ten of these for my friends who are all sick of the setlist. The amazing setlist that I'd love to see again and again, I might add...

06/14/10 7:36 AM

i would totally pay to see them perform those songs again.

06/14/10 9:54 AM

^
better print a shirt with 20 song setlist (including Third eye, Grudge, Parabola, H, Hooker with a penis, Sober, Bottom, Intolerance, Hush, Part of me & Cold and ugly) smiling smiley

06/14/10 10:19 AM

that would be amazing.

06/15/10 2:16 AM

New Material may be thrown at us this tour smiling smiley [www.thetoolhotline.com] Also possible APC LP in the near future!

06/15/10 2:23 PM

i wish i was seeing them again this summer! ahhhh!

06/16/10 7:21 PM

A christian folk rock band will be supporting Tool this summer.... what? [www.thetoolhotline.com]

06/16/10 8:47 PM

^WOW! I can't believe they're going to have an opening act like this, it's kind of out there, I mean, if it was Puscifer, I would get it, but not for Tool, TweakBird last year was a great opener, but this band doesn't really fit, I don't know why they would choose this band...oh well, not that people go for the openers anyway, but I would think this would be a buzzkill to pumped up for a Tool show *Shrugs Shoulders*
Honestly, I don't think they'll premier any new material, they said the same thing last year...I mean, it's the way Maynard says it in the article with the chances of hearing anything new: "..If it's not done, you won't"...so to tell you the truth, even though I was pumped about a new tour, I'm saving my money and milage, since they won't be playing anywhere around these parks. I'm sure it'll still be a fun show as always, but print out those Setlist shirtssmiling smiley

06/17/10 2:32 AM

Yup, that opener sucks donkey sack. Oh well- more time for cheaper beer outside the venues. tongue sticking out smiley

06/17/10 7:23 AM

i didn't really care for Tweakbird. meh. i probably wasn't even paying attention to them anyways.

even though i totally would pay to see them again it's prob a good thing that they're not coming anywhere remotely close to where i live. i mean, they didn't last year but my friends and i made a road trip out of it. i could use the $80+ on something else. like groceries...or my psychotic gas&electric bill.
