I like. Definitely a song that I'd listen to at a party or club. However I probably wouldn't keep it on my general playlist since a usually use that for reading, and I song like that just makes me want to move.

Damien Rice- Delicate

I like some of Damien Rice's songs, but I wouldn't go out and get an album of his. Too repetitive.

Wonderful atmospheric sludge, post-core or post-rock, whatever you want to call it.

that is actually surprisingly good, deserves a listen or 2.. or 3

That sounds like something that could be the theme song to some anime cartoon.

Pretty heavy but not MY style of heavy.

Here's MY kind of heavy!

A little too heavy for me. The video was . . . odd.

Maynard goes apeshit bananas

Video says 8+ minutes, but don't worry, song finishes just under 4 minutes.

Awesome! I'm going to that festival this year. Hoping Tool will perform there again.

...And The Circus Leaves Town

I love me some Kyuss!

New Fever Ray

I got into this band after I borrowed a freind a NIN album and he lent me a Mars Volta album.
I never knew back then I woudl get all their albums and compete with NIN for my best band.

Both of those were really good. I especially liked "The Wolf." That one was just eerie (in a good way, of course!).

I kind of wanted the Mars Volta song to be longer. It just felt like it was over too quickly.

I'm glad to see a reply so soon, I'll try and spread good music as much as I can. I took a listen to dirge, really didnt like it, however would like another link of another artist, keep the music coming.
Also The Mars Volta song follows onto this longer one, the one that got me into this band: The Mars Volta - Goliath

Ah that sucks dude, it was "List of Demands" by Saul Williams if you wanted to know. Well that sounded like some kind of folk song but I liked it I guess.

Continuing on with the folk theme, Tom Morello aka The Nightwatchman

03/11/11 3:44 PM

THAT WAS GREAT! But I am biased because I already liked Tom Morellosmiling smiley That was a good video, like the quotes!
Mushroomhead-These Filthy Hands

not a great band but its one of their better songs

Turisas - Rasputin

03/11/11 10:31 PM

Wow. That's... incredibly corny. I'm not really in the mood for Richard Cheese and his ilk tonight, so it's not getting much more than a shaking head out of me, but under the right circumstances, I could probably work up a good snicker or something. How much of this is down to really liking the original, I couldn't say.

Equally goofy, but more my speed, is the Darkest of the Hillside Thickets' 20 Minutes of Oxygen.

It's definitely a good song. I have mixed feelings on all things Peter Gabriel. There's some of his songs I really like, and some I cannot stand at all.

KMFDM - Krank

03/14/11 11:34 AM

That was Awesomely Bad!!!It kinda reminded me of the old FMV arcade shooters from back in the day, too.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Weight of the World

03/14/11 3:04 PM

That was pretty good. A little mellow, so I probably wouldn't want to listen it to very often, but still pretty good.

Middle Class Rut - New Low

03/15/11 2:16 PM

"Instead of letting go of it/I cant forgive myselllf" Tell'em!

Minus the Bear - When We Escape

03/15/11 4:27 PM

Not bad. It reminded me a bit a Shinedown. I may have to check out more of MTB.

This is LOVE

Love Tool. I hate it when the people filming think adding effects to their video makes it cooler though (especially that zoom in and out really quickly @3:24 , that's just annoying).

Screw that, forget about that, I don't want to think about anything like that.

Sorry man, I just cant stand MC Lars. The music itself is bad, the shtick gets old, and he's the kind of person that thinks its funny just because rap is silly. Which it isnt. This song in particular is like a bad Linkin Park ripoff. The lyrics are like a bad middle school essay. Sorry to be so dour, but I hate artists that expect silly genres to cover up their own short comings.

Nick Drake - Poor Boy

03/18/11 6:47 PM

03/18/11 10:55 PM

That was alright. I'm not really a Bob Dylan fan though.

One Night Only - Chemistry

03/19/11 12:21 AM

Well that wasn't my usual interest but it wasn't bad.

Enjoy this metal version of "Friday".
