^ Yeah. BJM are always great to hear.

Oh and I love that Blue Angel Lounge song. Blue Angel Lounge are one of those bands I can't seem to quite stop listening to them.

Slowdive - Melon Yellow

05/23/11 4:27 PM

It was alright. A little too slow for me, but I guess that's why they call it "Slowdive."

^One of my favorite Tool videos.

Classic Ulver!

05/23/11 10:39 PM

This is very enjoyable. Anachronistic, and seemingly retrenching metal back into classic rock dayz, but enjoyable nonetheless. Sounds like multiple songs mashed together, which isnt necessarily a bad thing- each of these parts are enjoyable. Whats nice is they manage to keep the edge on for the full 8 minutes, even in those folk moments.

dubstep house?

^ I commented on the one above you originally. I enjoy the song you posted though. Makes me wanna dance. smiling smiley

Dead Can Dance - Severance

I appreciate the willingness to listen to black metal and electronica for the sake of thread continuity. Anyhow, Dead Can Dance. Certainly one of the weirder bands to gain recognition. They remind me of church music, for obvious reasons. Not entirely sure what to say about them that hasnt been said. But it is very cool to finally see the instruments that have been making some of these sounds.

Tropicalia

Didn't understand a word.

However, it didn't stop me from loving it.

Let's keep with the foreign theme. Hope you enjoy musicals.

Belle

Not really my type of musical, but not bad.

You'd better be dancing to this.

05/24/11 10:38 PM

^ I've heard worse...but not much.

slow

05/25/11 12:58 PM

20 years later...still nothin from My Bloody Valentine. Probably cause they ran out of ideas already :\

Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - Two Against One Feat. Jack White

05/25/11 3:17 PM

I liked that. Especially the way they sang "one".

Fever Ray - Coconut

05/26/11 5:04 PM

That was good. Good (almost Hip-Hop) percussive section too.

Akanoid - 100 Burning Guitars

05/26/11 10:00 PM

Not bad, pretty good as a matter of fact!

cigarettes in your bed

05/26/11 10:33 PM

^I love love that song. One of MBV's best. smiling smiley

The Sky Drops - Hang On

05/26/11 10:51 PM

^ They're new to me, very relaxing to listen to...really great when the guitar kicks in too. smiling smiley

tattooed love boys

05/26/11 11:59 PM

^ Pretenders are always fun to hear.

Curve - Coast Is Clear

05/27/11 3:39 AM

^ I'll give it a 7/10, I'm not a massive fan of that type of music, but there does seem to be a lot of talent there, and personally I do love the trippy feel to it too. smiling smiley

There was just too much going on in that song for me to enjoy it. Too hyper for me as well.

Numb

05/27/11 9:01 PM

Man that brings me back...good memories...

I was listening to this back then... Musiq Soulchild - Half Crazy

05/28/11 1:26 AM

That was made in 2002? It sounds so early nineties!

This band is so sick, they made a song about it.

05/28/11 2:34 AM

^ 'twas okay. I've been on a Between the Buried and Me and Dillinger Escape Plan binge lately. You should check out Kane Hodder. You might like them but their stuff is kind of hard to find.

RIP Gil Scott-Heron

05/28/11 1:33 PM

I heard about his death reading around the different music sites this morning. Sad.

Police Truck!

05/29/11 1:53 PM

It was alright. Reminded me a bit of Primus, who are just alright in my book. Gotta love that finisher, though. Bleeeeeh-ha-ha. cough.

comfort blanket indie

05/29/11 7:22 PM

Very chill. I liked that.

Forsaken

05/29/11 11:04 PM

Still a very unique sounding frontman. Kinda lost interest in Korn after "Take A Look In The Mirror", but still very unique.

Why Mike Patton STILL kicks ass after 25 years!

05/31/11 12:27 AM

^Love me some Faith No More...not so much Gaga over Lady Gaga. tongue sticking out smiley

Saw this band last night opening for the Deftones...KICKASS!!

henry don't got love ~ le butcherettes

I haven't listend to rock music in a long time, it was OK. That said, I thought it could have been a lot angrier and louder.

What kind of animal are you?

05/31/11 10:54 PM

That just felt like a bad acid trip. Too out there for me.
