Something meant for me.

Pretty cool. Venetian Snares jawn going on. Or possibly, Amon Tobin on even more roids. I have a feeling this guy may be a one trick pony with the pitchshifting. Gonna guess this guy's favorite Aphex Twin album was Richard D James. And lastly, that album cover is not going to look good at all in five years.

For some of the metalheads around here: New Music

New? I've had that album (Heavy Rocks) for ages, but I believe they've recently released a remastered version. Boris rules!

Lovely stuff.

Sorta weird, but Boris is releasing another album also called Heavy Rocks. It comes out in a few weeks.

Not a big fan of the song, I'm afraid.

Peculiar Pretzelmen - Burn your House Down

Woah, that's....different.

clusterf*ck

Hmm something reminiscent of the NY punk days of The Ramones.

They ought to use this to torture suspected terrorists....

You know whats funny about that video? After you watch, watch it again without the sound. These kids have no rhythm. There is absolutely no energy in that crowd or that band. Also, most of them bitches are ugly.

Raga

its doesn't sound bad and even though i like godflesh its difficult to get into a band like that, and the song is way too long too

she loves me, she loves me not

Two thumbs up. Reznor always had an eye for talent. Even all of the openers he picks have turned into something. Also a crazy thought that Mansell is the premier movie scorer right now.

Gary Wilson

04/09/11 5:35 PM

She's so real! One click to see what song it was knowing I liked whatever Gary Wilson song it was in advance. The dude was way ahead of his time.

Some kinda noisy-indie-ish maybe bordering on avant-garde music

04/10/11 12:38 PM

that was trippy !

The Knife - Heartbeats

04/10/11 6:20 PM

I love that song. Most people seem to prefer the José González version, but, to me, nothing beats the original.

You need some time for this one.

04/10/11 6:47 PM

I like it…good stuff. thumbs up

the Hum

i don't know depeche mode all that well but this is an awesome performance and a great excuse for Rammstein to sing in English

Under the water

How coincidental, it sounds like Bjork. Pleasantly so. My first tip that I was enjoying this was that my foot was tapping by itself- often a good sign. The lyrics are nothing memorable, they might as well be in a trance stadium packer. Anyways, compared to most of the dance fodder out there, this is enjoyable. Nothing revolutionary, but nothing off putting either.

Mission of Burma. Required listening for those of you enjoy the punkier side of post punk. Or like music.

04/11/11 10:42 PM

Pretty good. Reminded me of one of my favorite bands, The Hives.

Took me forever to find this song on youtube.

04/12/11 3:30 PM

I'll always enjoy Bob Dylan. The opening titles are probably my favourite part of the film.

Seeing them live in a few days!

04/13/11 2:13 PM

Pretty good. It's like the Black Crows meets a female Jeff Buckley or something.

I want you to play with mine.

04/15/11 6:17 PM

Oh that's great.

The Beastie Boys remixed!!

04/15/11 7:01 PM

Yo. I'll admittha I've been dirnkgins o Im not a good reviewr right now, but this shit is good. It doesnt take a sover persont o know a geeat version of Sabothage. Shit is intesne yo. NICO Touches the Walls- Diver <- some say they are the new Asian Kung Fu generation

04/16/11 11:59 PM

I'll agree with you that they can be the new Asian Kung Fu generation. However, I have general contempt for the Asian Kung Fu Generation. They sound like any interchangeable anime title theme.

Ghost, another japanese band

^ Good stuff. smiling smiley

Can't stop listening to The Vandelles ....saw them at SXSW....this song is just so damn catchy.

Anyways, that was some very brilliant shoegaze.
