Yes.

I like Jack White, but don't think he's so good he deserves three threads.

03/14/12 12:40 PM

I kinda like his stuff.

OP obviously had some editing problems. This is what he was trying to post the first two times.

I heard the stream of the solo last night sounded great.

04/22/12 10:36 AM

Gonna see him at Roseland in... May, I think. Can't wait. Have yet to be disappointed by a show he's put on, be it w/ the Stripes or the Dead Weather.

04/22/12 11:30 AM

Looking forward to the new solo album, I saw him perform one cut live and thought it was awesome. I thought The Raconteurs was a great step forward from The White Stripes, loved both of those album. The Dead Weather didn't grab me as much.

04/22/12 12:31 PM

It's a solid album, but it could've used some more heavy, guitar driven songs.

04/22/12 2:29 PM

oh goody goody, blunderbuss drops tomorrow does it not?
yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw!
bring it, white!

04/22/12 3:16 PM

Damn Daenerys, wish I could 'like' your post :p

(off topic: also anticipating the next GoT episode?)

Just heard Sixteen Saltines. Pretty good. Not earth-shattering, but WS fans should dig it.

ok, on track 5 (blunderbuss).
so far, nice to see he is still so fun and creative and playful with music and his voice and such but oh such an ugly album in terms of emotion and lyrics. jesus. painful. i guess that makes sense what with divorce and break up of the white stripes.

Jack White to write muscical score for Disneys "Lone Ranger"

Jack White will write, produce and perform the soundtrack to Disney's new adaptation of The Lone Ranger, the film's producer has said.

The project will be White's first film soundtrack, following the release of his solo album 'Blunderbluss' on Monday.

"Jack's an amazing songwriter with a unique style," producer Jerry Bruckheimer told Variety. "We're all very excited to have him on board."

Starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, The Lone Ranger tells the story of a masked crime-fighter (played by Hammer) and his sidekick Tonto (played by Depp). It is based on the popular television series from the 1950s.

Johnny Depp is said to be "thrilled" that White will write the soundtrack.

Hey guys, just checked Billboard 200, Jack White's Blunderbuss is #1!
See it here.

05/11/12 5:15 PM

I like this. Love Interupted, Freedom, and Blunderbuss are faves.

05/16/12 7:38 PM

I think his album is incredible, it totally blew my pants off, I can't stop playing it.

I've been a fan of his since the White Stripes, saw them 4 times, saw The Dead Weather twice and I'm about to see JW next month at Brixton and Hammersmith. If things go to plan I might see him in Paris in July, fingers crossed!

06/11/12 11:36 AM

oh holy jaysus jay walking past the devil on route 66.
this fucking album.
can't stop listening.
can't.
stop.

can't choose a fave, either.

I bought Blunderbuss on the 1st day of release, and that was my immediate impression after the 1st listen.

I do love it, but being a WS/Raconteurs fan I was hoping for just a touch more guitar...
