Their performance, opening for KMFDM, in LA in 2007 remains one of the most pleasant surprises for me from a band I hadn't heard of before.

They had the audience eating out of their hands from the beginning of their set, with one member at a time going on stage, taking a mic and yelling "This shit, this shit, this shit, this shit will fuck you up." This lasted for 3 minutes while each member made their way on stage, then with the majority of the audience yelling along Andy came out and the song actually started.

I saw them last night in london, one word, awesome.

The image is cool, I just don't really like Andy's vocals on much of anything. I used to listen to Icon of Coil a lot, but there are really only a few songs I still do like.

It might sound shitty, but I just can't really get into anything other than "Get Your Body Beat," so I'm not really a fan.

Both bands are/were good live though!

I'll put up my opinion of their set opening up for Rammstein when I see that show later this month.

I saw Combichrist live last night at the palladium, in Worcester Mass and was not disappointed. I arrived at the venue about 20 minutes before they took the stage. They were playing right next to the bar at the entrance. I was very close to the stage, so I was happy about that and got knocked around a bit by the intense pit action, of wich there was little escape unless you were on the balcony.
I dont have a set list and I have only been listening to them for 2 years but they played a mix of new and old albums. Their stage presence is intense, at times appearing like zombies in a trance controlled by their music, and at other times its like a controlled explosion of energy as they completley let loose taking the crowd along with them. Haunting synth and pounding bass created a dark industrial atmosphere at times and it was awesome. Laplegua's performance was intense, at times he'll have this sinister smile on his face as if to say are you ready for whats comming and then he'll whip around and start screaming lyrics and jumping around interacting on stage.

The new guitarist (abbey?) sounded great. They ended the show with "never surrender" and "What the F' is wrong with you" after doing 4 songs for an encore. AWESOME band.

Some other noteable tracks they performed;

Electrohead

They

Scarred

Shut Up and Swallow

F**K' Machine

DeathBed

Get Your Body Beat

I did see someone with a NIN T-shirt there too!

Who was the guitarist and female vocalist who joined them on stage for the Vegas show? I can't find anything about it.

Combichirst is awesome!

I really wish NIN would tour again and take CC out with them! That would be a bad ass show ... and i'm certain A LOT of NIN fans who haven't been exposed to them would love them.

The new album (Making Monsters) is great!

You're such a dirty whore ... you're my fuck toy ... you get what you deserve .... you're fucking beautiful!
