he's just a really mentally & physically fucked up person. instead of surrounding himself with only people who constantly agree with him and kiss his ass (much like a certain guy who thinks he's a vampire these days), he should have gone away for a while and got some serious help for his issues. now he's a total mess on almost every level.

I was a big fan (maybe the biggest
 ) til and with "Bad". I think, it was a mistake to split up with Quincy Jones, they were a "Dream Team". He had some good Songs after that, but I missed the groove...
