Maynerd needs to get Paul Shaffer in the band- that was fucking awesome at the end!!!

This album is so much better than "V is for Vagina". The first album had no energy or direction. I couldn't believe "Conditions of My Parole" was such a great album.

I can't believe they were on Letterman! Great youtube video.

Seeing them this Friday in Toronto, odd venue - all seats. Should be interesting. And so fun!

11/15/11 11:17 PM

Great show tonight in Chicago.

Really blown away.

However, NIN is still hands down the best live show I've ever seen.

Side note: from my seat, I had a perfect view of Carina Round's cleavage. It was glorious.

Sweet!! I am really psyched!! .. uh .. for the show .. and the cleeavage. LOL.

Was Carina's opening set worth seeing?? I usually skip opening bands and drink beer in the parking lot.

Carina's band was fantastic, IMO. Definitely worth seeing.

I was at the Toronto show last night too - amazing. I've only seen Maynard in Tool concerts, where he gets on stage, faces the right direction and then hardly moves. It was such a surprise to see him dancing and so active. The whole show was very entertaining and the music was amazing. Carina added so much to the show - and definitely worth seeing her.

The crowd was a bit odd, there was no standing area so everyone was in seats. And we were all sitting until about the third song when Maynard said he didn't know why we were all sitting but it was rude. (something like that) Then it was standing and dancing. While everyone seemed to be really into the music and show, it was a bit subdued compared to other concerts.

They mainly played from the new CD - which from talking to people last night, most people seem to prefer from the earlier stuff. I like it all, so was hoping for a few more old ones, but every song was amazing.

Maynard did pretty much the same thing in the Chicago show.

He just said that we could stand if we wanted to, and if the ushers told us to sit down, tell them to fuck off.

That leaves about 2-3 months for Maynard to work on Tool.

Perhaps get together with the rest of the group and touch base. Maybe record it after the spring tour and have it out next winter? That's just wishful thinking.

Get it done, please.

He just said that we could stand if we wanted to, and if the ushers told us to sit down, tell them to fuck off.

During the Brooklyn show he did the same thing. Haha. "Listen guys, I know yesterday was turkey day and all but that's not an excuse not to stand up and enjoy the show."

Definitely gonna try to go to the Edmonton show. Should be able to work out~

Just make sure you stand up or Maynard'll get pissed.

12/09/11 9:03 AM

Hahaha fuckin rights I will. I'm always at the front of the stage for shows. It's the rest of the crowd I'm worried about. Edmonton's been a bit tame lately~

sheesh, last thing i read from him was that his vagin was all messed up from his last release. he must have a good gynecologist and be really horny, the lil' slut. i would honestly be more excited to see a date on the tool album. but he's also such a fucking tease. ... alright, it's official - maynard is a female. ... i'd probably do him, just sayin'.

no, thanks for the update. cool news.
