I LOVED the Underworld tracks so when I first heard the album, I was in shock how different it was. Regardless, this album grew on me and I love it.

The songs for the underworld track are great but the album? well it kinda sounds like tapeworm demos... in a dissapointing way...

i was really disappointed with this project. i loved the underworld tracks, but the album was a huge letdown. the only track from it that i enjoyed was "mama sed", but even then, i remixed it so it had an additional chorus at the end. did anyone else notice the hiss that's behind every track? i think maybe from it being recorded analog... either way, that drove me nuts, and i had to put every track through a noise reducer just to cope with that damned hiss.

i thought the remix album was much, much better. it seemed to have way more of the vibe that i expected from this project.

and, has anyone else been unable to connect to the official puscifer site for about a month now? it says the security certificate is expired...

Security Certificate 08/29/08: We're dealing with it. Or we've dealt with it. Red tape. Sorry.

I have to say the same... I was very let down by this album, not much depth or concept to it. I have not check out the remix album and the main site is down. kinda tells you a lot about the whole project.

He should use one of his actual guns.

Yeah, killing your fans would be a great business move...

i liked the vagina album somewhat...i haven't listened to it a lot, but i never just changed a song on it for not liking it...i just have a hard time getting into a lot of things maynard puts out...although anything APC was my cup of tea. so pretty much just Tool and Puscifer. but i do eventually like it a lot

this should have been on the remix album, with some atmospheres behind it.

"Puscifer Store Grand Opening Soon

Hopefully by Oct 1st, we'll be able to say it's official, THE 1ST EVER Puscifer store will be opening. Ground Zero is Jerome, Arizona. It's a small space above Jerome Tattoo, and across from Puffin Stuff in the Verde Apartment Complex. We're still in the painting and renovation stage. As always things take a little longer and cost twice what you might expect, but we're making headway.
A talented young Canadian Pianist performed a version of Indigo Children. Exactly what this project is all about. Core ideas and melodies that spiderweb off in infinite directions. And this version is lovely. A clear nod in the direction of Tori. Check it out: irongoddesstea on uTube

We're also working on a video for "Momma Sed." More on that later...

For the latest release items, check the "NEW!!!" cart."

Seems to me there's a lot of humour that comes through in the whole Puscifer idea that Maynard hasn't really let out before. I've really enjoyed that angle behind it.

And I really like the album, m'self. Admittedly, it took me a while to get used to it because I didn't know what to expect.

"Drunk with Power" is my favourite song from the CD right now.

I too love and support anything MJK puts out.
The first time I heard of Puscifer,
I was listening to satellite radio and "Rev 22:20" came on.
I was like WTF?!?! That's Maynard.
I immediately looked it up when I got home.
Great song. I like the album.

I agree.

I have to say. I thought the album was pretty cool since it came out. But 2 nights ago...while trippin...I gave it a listen with good headphones. HOLY SHIT. I have never buged out so hard. I had an out of body expierence like nothing I have felt before. I look at this album in a new light now. You should give it a try in the same way I did.

09/19/08 11:10 PM

Momma Sed is a fucking awesome song, Queen B and Indigo Children are pretty good too. I wouldn't rate it above Tool but I have to say I was impressed. Not crazy about the remix album though.

Lustmord annoys the fuck out of me over at the Asylum (The Puscifer Message Board)

He's got my respect, but it seems like he lets his egotistical opinion get in the way. I mean, after the all...the place it caleld The Asylum. Isn't that for like...crazy people and such?

I can get on the site. That's where I found the message. I just let Firefox ignore the certificate warning.

Yikes, I forgot about the message board. I signed up right when it opened, but then just forgot it existed. Are there any warnings about it before I go back to check it out?

Took me ages to get into V when it came out just coz it so different from APC and Tool, but I think thats why I enjoy it so much now

There are a couple of song which aren't my thing but it really still is a great album.

09/24/08 9:09 PM

Oh wow, they finally paid there site hosting bill...
