"Puscifer Store Grand Opening Soon

Hopefully by Oct 1st, we'll be able to say it's official, THE 1ST EVER Puscifer store will be opening. Ground Zero is Jerome, Arizona. It's a small space above Jerome Tattoo, and across from Puffin Stuff in the Verde Apartment Complex. We're still in the painting and renovation stage. As always things take a little longer and cost twice what you might expect, but we're making headway.
A talented young Canadian Pianist performed a version of Indigo Children. Exactly what this project is all about. Core ideas and melodies that spiderweb off in infinite directions. And this version is lovely. A clear nod in the direction of Tori. Check it out: irongoddesstea on uTube

We're also working on a video for "Momma Sed." More on that later...

For the latest release items, check the "NEW!!!" cart."

I can't wait until the Momma Sed video is released that song is PRIME.....

That's fucking awesome!

Hell...I'd do the same...I wonder how they know where the fuck he lives...no wait...no I don't...cause technically, I know where he lives...but that's for another post.

I wasn't too keen on the album at first, but I suspected that after a few more listens I'd think differently, and i was right! You see that's the thing with Maynard's work, you get more out of each listen. I can't stop listening to it now. "Momma Sed" and "The Undertaker" have to be my favourite tracks.

I love the video where a fan jumped on stage, and Maynard took him down pronto.

Yes I am in receipt of this little post card in the mails abouts de POO-SEE-FUR STORE! I am very inter-ested in pur-chasing the pet toys, picking ups some of the recipies, the coffees and the Whirled Peas!

(nodding)

I WUB Maynard he's such a nerd! (although I have not received the pleasure of being attacked - he scares me, seriously)

Unfortunately I live in PA, so it would have to be one of those things where I take a vacation and pop in "with my sense of humor" (thanks for the warning)...maybe I'll get a TAT downstairs while I'm there who knows...

Either way I have to say I do enjoy Vagina and Viagra but of the two I enjoy Viagra more...although Viagra would not be what it is IMHO without Vagina...ahem grinning smiley ...

Thanks...
Great song, and I love the video!

"Momma Sed" is easily my favorite track on the album, the video's simple but effective. I still can't decide whether I like the Vagina mix or the "Tandemonium" mix from Viagra better, they're both just great!

10/19/08 8:02 PM

I'm loving Puscifer at the moment, it took quite a long time to finally get into it but I'm glad I spent the time, they're well worth it. It's great music to just sit back and get whisped away by. And the Dub album's pretty cool too, not something I'm overally familiar with so it's a nice venture into something new.

11/07/08 8:12 PM

The remix album is pretty awesome. I didn't listen to the full one as much until I started listening to the remixes. Honestly what Maynard doing is pretty awesome. It's groovy and awesome production. It's just whatever goes, and personally I think it's so far from a let down. It's different, and at first I too was skeptical, but then with time I couldn't stop singing Queen B to myself. Maynard has got the pimpness, can I get a witness?

11/09/08 6:33 PM

Yeah, I really like Puscifer too... Very different, but very groovy winking smiley

hell if i didn't have a knack for losing fans already, i'd be paintballin' 'em off my property too.

everyone i know was pissed off when first they hear V. i was amazed and surprised. i love all three puscifer releases i have so far. the band has a different name, why the fuck were they all expecting to hear the sound of tool?

even APC sounds different, it's got more of billy's sound at the core, but surely everyone knew that puscifer was the playground for maynard to create whatever the fuck he felt like creating.

i think even he was expecting some backlash from asshole fans, as he always said something like 'leave your over-inflated expectations at the door'.

no need for me, i regard this as a totally new project, as that's what it is, and i really enjoy all the tracks i've heard so far - and yes, the viagra mixes are awesome. some brilliant recreations of vagoo tracks - well worth checking out.

i absolutely love indigo children & mama said smiling smiley

Exactly. I don't know why some people assume Maynard will always do the same type of music with different bands/projects... The great thing about Maynard is that he does something different every time. How can you not respect a guy like that? thumbs up

I'm a fan of Puscifer too, I love the songs i've heard...
'Momma Sed' has become a favourite of mine.

I love Puscifer. It's nice to see Maynard's humor through his music. I think my favorites are DoZo and Vagina Mine.

I don't think people expacted that, but something like the songs on the Underworld soundtrack.

11/24/08 12:22 PM

The songs Undertaker and Rev 220 were great. Maybe that gave me unreasonably high expectations for the V Is for Vagina CD, but I was supremely dissapointed. The CD did not sound anything like the two initial Puscifier songs, and I dont know if it is just me, but the programming sounded lazy on the album. It felt uninspired, like a good idea gone cold that you force yourself to finish because you already started. It sounds like an obligation, not an artistic expression. That being said, I didnt hate it, just dissapointed.
