i love them so.

Let's hope Josh Freese is still on board. When I had lunch with him, he said he would be, but my fingers are still crossed.

08/03/10 8:35 PM

More twitter goodness, showing most of the old band members involved maybe? grinning smiley

Good times for all.

Uhhh...you had lunch with Josh? Do tell.

Unless you're fucking with us, then http://smiliesftw.com/x/fawkbarrest.gif.

I posted about it in the Josh Freese thread here: [forum.nin.com]

The APC Facebook posted this earlier:

And here they come. . .

APC Twitter:

Link

"Marquee - Tempe AZ, Avalon - LA, Showbox at the Market - Seattle, The Fillmore - SF, The Pearl - Vegas. 3 nights each. Album each night."

I'm there for The Fillmore

09/13/10 3:48 PM

Can't wait for the AZ show, I knew Maynard would show us some love;
I'm taking it that the dates to these shows haven't been released yet, cause I can't seem to find them. It'll be interesting to see what APC does at a theater like Marquee though, hopefully tix won't be ridiculously pricey!!!!

09/13/10 7:31 PM

I plan on hitting up one or more shows at one scpecific city. TBD...

09/13/10 7:31 PM

they better fucking come to the east coast!!! and to somewhere in NY that is closer to me than NYC!

09/13/10 7:56 PM

does 5 cities count as a fucking tour?

i really wished they would've played 15 cities and still do the album show...just surprise every city with a different one.

well, not emotive. i didn't care for that album at all.

I assume an album or at the very least new material will be released shortly after.

09/13/10 11:05 PM

Playing emotive in its' entirety and leaving the stage doesn't make whole lot of sense. Hearing "Passive" would be awesome of course.

well, if that actually were the case..then why would they play only one of their old albums on stage?

you think this is sort of a pre-tour before announcing a new album and a larger city tour?

09/14/10 12:01 AM

A friend of mine was telling me that he wanted to attend of a few of those APC shows...not sure if I could stand a roadtrip that far with anyone though. Hopefully more tourdates will be added soon since I missed them the last time they toured here in TX.

09/14/10 7:14 AM

This is probably just a "warm-up" tour, I mean it's been awhile since they've done anything together, so I'm sure they're just getting their chops back. Either way I can't wait, I mean 3nights/3albums!!! I hope this is in NOV, cause I already have too many concerts to pay for within this month and Oct...

09/15/10 11:30 AM

Oh man. Someone PLEASE organize a TIOU-style DVD, particularly of Thirteenth Step! I wish I lived on the west coast, this shit is gonna be EPIC.

09/15/10 12:27 PM

Fer real .. no NC love.

Am hoping for big tour and they hit somewhere around here, that's not atl ..

09/16/10 3:56 PM

^ haha. Yeah I know how you feel. I felt the same way I was like "How on earth can you miss Texas...its a fucking big state."

09/17/10 2:54 PM

Maynard and Billy were interviewed the other day, well mostly Maynard since the interviewers really only wanted to talk to Maynard it seemed. Had some interesting things to say about the band. One being that they want to do more shows once this tour is over. This tour is basically just everyone getting in sync since some of the members either haven't played some of the material before. Also, Maynard says that he's probably going to go more towards the singles route rather than release a full length album.

The interview has some interesting moments with Maynard and Billy, at one point they go completely silent

I don't think they're coming to the east coast. breaks my heart sad smiley sad smiley sad smiley

09/20/10 2:05 PM

Five. Cities. Is. Not. A. Tour. MAYNARD. I have to catch their Vegas show...

I hope they play a range of songs across the albums. Perfect set would include (but not in this order)... Judith, Magdalena, The Outsider, The Noose, Weak and Powerless, Pet, Blue and Rose. In my opinion anyway.

09/21/10 6:57 AM

November 4 Tempe, AZ Marquee Theatre Mer de Noms
November 5 Tempe, AZ Marquee Theatre Thirteenth Step
November 6 Tempe, AZ Marquee Theatre eMOTIVe
November 8 Los Angeles, CA Avalon Mer de Noms
November 9 Los Angeles, CA Avalon Thirteenth Step
November 10 Los Angeles, CA Avalon eMOTIVe

Surprisingly, the prices are pretty cheap too. I can't wait, this tour really makes up for missing out on seeing Tool this past summer.

09/21/10 9:57 AM

the one and only time i caught APC live was when they opened for NIN at the Garden, back in 2000. that was before the first album had been released, and i didn't know any of the material aside from the radio single.

they better make their way back over to the NYC area! i'd fucking LOVE to see Thirteenth Step in it's entirety; hands down one of the best albums of the last decade.

Where did you find the prices? I can't see them on the official site. :/

Ohhhh maaaaaaaan. I'd love to catch the Thirteenth Step show in Seattle. That album's the ultimate autumn soul, to me, and I was always bummed that I didn't catch them live.

Prices are on Ticketmaster.

Will be trying to get three day passes for the Seattle shows this Friday when they go on sale [keeps fingers crossed that i'll be able to get them].

09/21/10 2:45 PM

^Or just through the Box Office Website of the venue (Since our venue doesn't go through Ticketmaster), which is where I'm getting mine from. They even said that they are holding tix for those whom show up to buy them in person the morning the tix are released. It'll be interesting to see how fast AZ tix will sell out, cause we are flooded with TOOL fans out here and The Marquee Theater is about the size of a club rather than a Theater, so I MUST get mine as soon as possible!
