Yeah, the shorter festival times seem to have a more standard setlist. Venues get the eMotive tour.

I guess I'll hold out hope to hear them sound good, but with some of those tunes being stringed together I can hear moans from across the room already. Got the Red Rocks show so as long as weather cooperates it should be a good experience.

I would have liked to have seen Judith, but it was a good show nonetheless. It looks like Detroit got all the same songs and then more on top of it. Did all the covers basically break up the expected heavier mood you were hoping for?

It WAS a debbie-downer setlist for sure, but i was expecting it based on previous setlists. and Maynard was chatty (for himself) and in a good mood. it seemed like the audience as a whole and the band were expecting different things from each other, and as a result both left the show unsatisfied.

Rape = Paying $70 to see a band play a shitload of cover songs. What a waste.

Kinda wondering- was the crowd pissed off? Not sure what to expect but right now I could only imagine the disappointment, just trying to get a "vibe" of what it was like after the show.

I'll reserve judgement til I go to see them but, yeah- not sure why they're trying to pull this off as an eMotive tour.

They played 18 songs and literally 10 of them were from Emotive. They only left out Let's Start A War from the Emotive album. Everyone was pretty much drunk by the time they finished up. And you know those Maynard fans. He could practically just shove the mic up his ass and fart the whole night and people would love it. They, as a band DID sound good but the setlist was god awful. People didn't really seem pissed. Just don't expect a great show at all. They didn't even play Judith for cryin' out loud.

Looking for a pair of tickets for the Beacon Theatre show... Still a few available on Ticketbastard but face value is insanely expensive.

If anybody has leftovers and wants to deal, I'd be ready to throw in some AVOTT gear in exchange (sealed Blu-Rays, Triple DVD sets, Single DVD Sets, postcards, posters, pins).

Hey Ash .. Still loving the Webster Hall vid .. Thanks again man! Good luck with the tix.

Trying to keep an open mind to my pending show. I don't even have eMotive on my NiNPod, out of preference. But .. will try to enjoy the set and it will be better than sitting at home watching TV, I am sure.

You don't have Passive on your iPod? Blasphemy!!!

One of my favorite APC tunes. Annihilation is a very cool intro song, and Imagine is worthy of being on there.

I'll move Passive and Counting Bodies Like Sheep .. but that's IT!! winking smiley

How were the recent shows there peeps? Got mines tomorrow and glad I know what to expect .. and hope it doesn't thunderstorm like a banshee ..

Might wanna keep an eye (no pun intended) on the fourtheye forums for show information. Will get a bit more traffic on there and they have show specific threads...

Looved my show! If you know that they are going to play a lot of eMotive songs .. it's not so bad. I appreciated it for what it was ..

Worth the price of admission .. The Noose, Weak and Powerless, Counting Bodies Like Sheep ..

+ WOW on 3 Libras, I didn't know it was 3 Libras when they were playing it.

+ What is up with the strict camera policy. I tried to take mine in but they found it and told me I couldn't bring it in. What's Up with That?? My only gripe of the evening ..

This. Going to see NIN from 2008-09 with their open camera policy, and then then going to other shows since makes one think the venues are run by nazis.

Glad you enjoyed the show. From what I've read on the interpipes a lot of fans were disappointed in the set list but thought the shows were great. I saw them two nights in Seattle for lasts years mini tour, funny thing was the eMotive show was the one I enjoyed the most- for unexpected reasons though. Maynard was sick during the first show on Friday, he recovered and sounded much better for the Sunday show. The tiny venue was less packed that Sunday night as well so the extra little room we had was a nice unexpected thing. They played the cover of Ozzy's "Diary of a Mad Man"- easily one of his best tunes.

About 11 more days, will post pics from Red Rocks when I get the chance.

Holy shit is Red Rocks fucking amazing!!! Best venue I've ever been too, and by quite a bit. Didn't know what to expect acoustically from a bunch of slabs of rock, but the sound was beyond incredible.

APC sounded fantastic. The drummer wasn't Josh Freese but was a respectable fill in no doubt. Aside from the not-so-perfect set list this was one of the more memorable shows I've ever been too. I need to kick myself in the balls for not seeing NIN here, and could've seen Tool last year as well.

On a flight home right now and got some pretty good pics and vids on my iPhone. Will share them once I put them up on Photobucket.

Damn .. Red Rocks. I also want to go there one day .. it's on my bucket list.

Awesome man!! Glad you had a good experience. And sweet on the pics .. Please do share!!

I'll post more when I get a chance. Was uploading these to Photobucket and got caught up in something else last night and stopped.

We stopped by Red Rocks in the afternoon. Had no idea the ampitheatre would be open during set-up, but they eventually closed the park down during soundcheck...

Bad ass man! That place looks like a cool place to TRIP ..

I think Greece also has a rock surrounded venue. It also sounds like a really neat place.

One day ...

So, yes please post moar Pics! MOAR!!

Most of the pics are similar, so just decided to post a handful of the better ones. It was a heavy drizzle so the rain played a small part in picture quality. We were in row 22, just to the left of center...

I love APC; There has been a heap of talk from Maynard of a new album and tour relly hope it happens soon. Seems like all the albums I am keen for are taking an age to be released.

05/01/12 4:40 PM

I wish they'd at least released an MP3 for By And Down while we're waiting for other new material.

Yeah that would be cool for sure. I am really keen to hear new stuff rather than the constant hints of new things.

Wow, APC confirmed for the 2013 Soundwave festival in Australia this upcoming February/March. Wonder if josh is gonna be on the drums this go-around.

Would be a nice break from the Wisconsin winter. Just saying, heh.

Well they're supposedly deep into the wiring process so hopefully all the vocals will be done by the time APC starts rehearsing, then possibly a late spring arrival for new Tool.

I hope it doesn't interfere with Tool one bit but it is kinda cool to hear from APC again- I thought this would be another indefinite hiatus with new Tool, Puscifer, and the winery.

My guess is Josh won't be the drummer again since the tweet had Jeff Freidl included in it.

Yeah I am pretty stoked about this I was hoping that they would be heading to Oz sometime soon.
