i must say this has been one rap duo i have really liked since i first heard them

Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is really all I've heard of them, but that album's pretty friggin' awesome. I've heard a little off of other albums too. Idlewild Blue's a really catchy song.

They're not rap, but as far a duos go, Gnarls Barkley is the shit. Most people seem to know them for Crazy, but their new album is really awesome as well, I'd recommend everyone checking it out.

ATLiens is the best rap album of all time.....PERIOD. No joke ATLiens. Write it down and make sure it is in your collection if you do not have it. Also like all GREAT albums (think Spiral) you will need many listens to appreciate. I LOVE this album. ATLiens!!!!! Aquemini and Stankonia are GOOD, Speakerbox/Love.... is okay at best.

I've never listsned to ATLiens before now, but from those tracks you posted, it sounds like a really solid album. I guess I like Speakerboxx/The Love Below because that was the album I was introduced to them with, instead of being a fan of their early style and seeing them depart from it. It's a really good album if you're looking at it as a more funk, jazz or.. whatever genre it is, it combined a lot of elements together.

As a Rap/hip-hop album though, it's pretty weak, so I think I know where you're coming from.

I liked 'roses' 'hey ya' and some song with the 'she's still alive' lyrics, that's about it though o_o itd be cool if he could group up with gym class heroes cuz his voice is a bit too whiny for me sometimes, or there's too much of it

*yet another noob critic from hell!

Can't say enough about Stankonia. One of my all time favorite hip-hop records. I love Aquemini, but nothing like the Stank.

I love the promo vinyl of it, orange pressing. Gotta love it.

i love outkast. always have. i love them because they're not easily categorized, just like reznor, maynard, saul etc.

it's their experimental nature that keeps me coming back to hear each new album they drop. i even did a little lo-fi mash-up a while back of 'me, i'm not' vs. 'mainstream' lol

download linky smiling smiley

'bombs over baghdad' is still one of my fave outkast tracks grinning smiley

We've having our very own Outkast moment in our house. Our roof is starting to leak which is great now that it's raining like hell here. So we're in my flatmate's room putting buckets and cups everywhere to catch the water while singing Ms Jackson really loud! grinning smiley
