kinda; especially Korn was just noisy, lyrically honest, scream your lungs out music
and after issues they were just chasing a hit, they were not honest anymore

i think that's what drove Head mad, i don't think he could cope with the fact that his closest friends turned out to only be interested in another big hit song

Head's album is the only real Korn music since issues; Korn is no more.

Only these two guys were any good really.

common typo, it's: Fred Durst's 2-3 inch cock

I really liked Korn up until Untouchables. Then I just completely lost interest. I wasn't a fan of Issues but Untouchables was their last good album. Ever since then, they've just been pumping out shit. They're not even Korn anymore.

And for the record, Durst actually sucked THEIR cock, not the other way around. Aaron Lewis sucked Fred's cock, the dude from Puddle of Mudd sucked Aaron's cock and so on and so on.

I would assume that's how long he would say it is.

Answer to this thread's title: yesterday when I listened to 'Issues', and today when I was listenin to 'Untouchables'.

That's actually just a jab to Korn and Bizkit. Not SOAD or Incubus.

Mike Patton is friends with Serj Tankian, actually.
but then again.. Wes Borland and Trent are friends too

I love Korn!!! I'll admit - they aren't as good as they used to be. I think that Issues was their last masterpiece. I also think that Korn lost their edge after Head left - he was the force that pushed Korn and when he left, Korn just collapsed.

04/29/10 12:25 AM

they haven't done anything really super since Issues, but i like how korn's going back to doing their old stuff (hence the new "old skool korn fan" shirts. i saw them live earlier this month, and it was AWESOME, though Five Finger Death Punch and 2cents were better.

and the 2 best albums are the first 2. i'm glad they've got the same producer on board for the new one. we'll see what happens.

04/29/10 12:27 AM

So I hear that they are going back to their old sound for their new album.

04/29/10 6:44 AM

last time they were cool was Life is Peachy. yep yep.

04/29/10 7:33 AM

i really only listen to the self titled album. it's one of my favorite albums ever, really. but beyond that, i only listen to a couple other random songs here and there. *shrug*

04/29/10 7:38 AM

I was really into them in grade school/high school. I lost interest after Issues, though. I just grew out of them I suppose and got sick of Jon whining about the same thing over and over again.

SO... had tickets to the May 4th show in Louisville, KY... low and behold 5 days before the show, it gets fuckin cancelled! apparently, not enough tickets were sold. seriouslY!? wtf. the first thing i thought of was if every band would do the same thing? meaning, would NIN cancel if not "enough" tickets were sold? my immediate answer was no, they would not cancel. it's ironic considering jonathan davis wrote the song "4 U," a tribute to his fans, and they cancel a show. i'm just a tad upset.

Actually I think NIN DID cancel some LITS shows (South America I believe) because of poor ticket sales

gah that sucks. i saw them in toronto with five finger death punch and 2cents, and they were awesome. they're going back to all their old stuff, not playing any of that newer shit. the new stuff isn't bad, but its boring. they also played my favourite korn song of all time, faget. was it the band or their tour management that cancelled the show? i know korn hate managing their own stuff, so they might have had nothing to do with the cancellation at all.

new single Oildale (Leave Me Alone) now streaming 24 hours long:

05/05/10 6:27 AM

Korn was great for the first two albums. Then it went downhill.

05/05/10 7:07 AM

can i change my answer to either "never" or "when i was in 7th grade" ?

05/09/10 6:36 PM

I edit my answer. Korn is really always a cool band. People just either love them too much or hate them too much, and thats what makes them so controversial. At least thats how it seems to me. But all in all, I really fuckkin dig this band, they're way good.

05/09/10 8:42 PM

Its unfortunate that modern alternative rock took its early 00s cues from Korn rather than RATM or Faith No More.

05/10/10 8:33 AM

i've thought korn was cool since i heard blind all those years ago.
they peaked with untouchables but i still don't think they've ever put out a bad album.
jon's vocals on SYOTOS and Untitled were amazing IMO.
i love throw me away and no one's there from the unplugged thing. the duet with robert smith on make me bad/in between days was awesome since it combined one of my favorite cure songs with a really good korn song.

i'm not the biggest fan of the brand new single though, but the demo that leaked for "Are You Ready to Live?" from the new album (the demo leaked with the title "My Time"winking smiley is really cool. sounds like a cross between issues and life is peachy.

05/10/10 9:51 AM

I used to like these guys a lot but after Issues I lost interest and haven't liked what little I've heard since then. And now that Head and the drummer are gone I couldn't care less about them.

05/10/10 9:30 AM

They were never cool (imho?!).spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I loved Untouchables & Other Side was better than I expected but yeah without Head & David, the band is really hanging on by a thread. I mean there will always be a place in my heart for them since their music got me through a lot as a teen and stuff, but the band is just barely hanging on.

I'm seeing these dudes in concert tonight H3LLZ Y34H!!!
Looking forward to such a great show! Want to join me?

So, I went and it was awesome!
>>One of the best concerts I've been to. Definitely.
