haha, I feel sorta weird posting my list after seeing names like Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Miles Davis up there.
(This list comes from a nineteen year old kid from the midwest who grew up on country, Christian, and boy bands until he bought his first limp bizkit record in sixth grade.
yeah.)
I left off any Nine Inch Nails albums, because it felt redundant.
Thrice - Vheissu
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
Green Day - American Idiot
Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape
Slipknot - Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses
Honorable Mention:
Gorillaz - Demon Days (But only after watching the Demon Days Live DVD and seeing and feeling how truly powerful the music is.)
And I must comment, that I'm surprised (even for a forum who's members most likely lean more towards heavier/darker music) that no one has said anything about the Beatles.
to each his (and her) own!
