hmmmmmmm......well, i agree with annadraconida on the fact that bellamy has the BEST voice out there. really, if a singer's voice can't 'speak' to me then i can't get into the music, no matter how good the instrumentation may be. which leads me to the point that those boys know how to play their instruments damn well. or at least enough to captivate me, as i haven't even the slightest inkling how to play anything, arrange music....blah blah blah... The versatility of their music is one of my favorite aspects as well. between both what they write about and the variety of styles they incorporate.

thats just the music though. although i've also never been to a live Muse show (but plan on going in the US this year) i enjoy the theatrics of their live shows, i luv seeing how 'into it' they get, as they truly are having fun and showing the luv to the crowd. and of course, aside from all the music, youve gotta luv their zaniness. easily one of my favorite things about them is how freaking hilarious they are. blame the english to have a good sense of humor.

when it comes to NIN, well, like anyone, i can have some rather angry, depressing, and downright despairing thoughts. NIN speaks intelligently to me about these feelings, rather than just screaming unintelligible bullshit into the mic and putting out a record. its helped me put a lot of things into perspective, which is precisely why NIN will always be my #1.

i have muse for mostly the opposite, as it molds me into feeling happy, crazy, grand.....just lots of good stuff.

Here is some more sweet news for my fellow Musers:

Adam Lambert has stated that one of the songs from his upcoming studio debut, For Your Entertainment, will be a cover of an unreleased Muse song. Judging from the song, it seems like an outtake from The Resistance(even though they told us there were none!) or it could be a rough version that inspired what is now United States Of Eurasia, OR it could very well be an outtake from the BHAR sessions!

as for the new video...it was....alright. the dancer creeped me out.....at the beginning when it shows you just the feet, i thought it was someone jump roping. i thought, "wtf?"

guess i didn't think much of it. i see how its mocking the music industry though. the wires all over the place look really cool.

There will be always be bad reviews about bands and the live gigs they show, i saw Muse 2 nights ago in Glasgow, although it was a good show it lacked the energy from the previous tour, who knows, maybe the band were knackered after the last big tour and slimming down things works towards the longetivity of the tour and reduce the stresses, i must say the lights, lasers had everyone open mouthed, a nice treat was a kilt clad piper jamming along to one of the songs, MUSE can only get bigger :-)
