I copped this baby after driving 100+ miles today. I just happened to see this record store, walked in, checked out the NIN section and found this. Paid $3.50 for it.

nice grab! that's the CD version, right? part 1 or 2?

my dad's got Badmotorfinger on CD, but he's more of a classic rock enthusiast, though Soundgarden might be considered classic nowadays, but not sure about that...

what record store did you get Survivalism from, by the way?

Fantastic! I've never heard Mr Wobble's Nightmare, I'll check it out.

I downloaded Drown in the Now and did not like it.

I'm sticking with Vegas thankyouverymuch.

I just bought The Downward Spiral...again. Since I fried my laptop's hard drive, I've been starting to think that maybe I should just borrow or buy cds from here on out.

It was a rough choice though because I was also considering Vader's Art of War. I know next to nothing about the band though (other than I like what I've heard) and couldn't get a hold of my metalhead svengali.

This month so far I've bought

Soap&Skin - Lovetune For Vacuum
Soap&Skin - Spiracle (promo single)
Soap&Skin - Untitled EP.

Really digging this young girls stuff and I tend to do that (buy as much as I can find) when I find an artist I really, really like.

Depeche Mode - Wrong (12" )
Depeche Mode - Songs Of Faith And Devotion (Remaster CD)
Depeche Mode - Exciter (Remaster CD)
Depeche Mode - Sounds Of The Universe (CD)
Marilyn Manson - The High End Of Low (CD)
Einsturzende Neubauten - Berlin Babylon
Sheep On Drugs - Two For The Show

I'm a junky for CD's with the odd nod to vinyl, but somehow can't seem to get my head around the concept of a download, paid for or not. Love the thrill of getting something in the mail or going down to the record shop and searching through tons of plastic and paper and finding something tangible that I can touch, see and hear all at once.

Jukesy55, all around good picks, specifically Endtroducing.

traumahound00, I cant quite stand metal, but Wavering Radiant makes a great case for it.

i bought a vinyl, i bought double dagger's ragged rubble on clear vinyl two weeks ago... still hasn't come in the mail... SIGHHHHHH.

i might be seeing birth control (philly punk) later this summer and i'll try to snag that 7" i didn't buy last time around. even though i STILL don't have a turntable.

anyways. as for actual CD, last cd's i personally bought were coil's love's secret domain and scatology (PRICY!), current 93's sixsixsix:sicksicksick and soft black stars, death in june's burial, and pink reason's cleaning the mirror. i'm trying to physicalize (if that's even a word) my music collection, hahaha. it feels wrong to say that so and so is my favorite album whenever i don't actually own it. :> so i paid the price.
