cadair8 member Joined: 12/21/07 Posts: 4,400	I love the video for Telephone. I don't enjoy the song to much, I think it is one of her weaker tracks, but the video was awesome. I enjoy that it actually has a story and isn't just girls in small clothing just dancing around. I feel like the music video is a lost art now and when I see a longer form video like this it makes me happy. I think videos should tell some sort of story not just the band or person singing/rapping and having chicks dance around them. So yeah just more props to Lady Gaga for doing something awesome.

Everything she does just pushes her more and more away from the 'norm' of pop stars, and in my opinion she has just become something else entirely than another pop queen. Her images, messages, lyrics, etc continue to evolve, becoming slightly darker and more intellectual the further they go. I believe that by the end of GaGa's career, she will be regarded as a musical icon the equivalent of Elvis, The Beatles, etc. As for her latest release, it just furthers the sheer awesomeness her videos have been since 'Paparazzi'. The Tarantino influence and Kill Bill's Pussy Wagon just added to it entirely. That she could take a song like 'Telephone' and make a music video like that out of it just speaks to how talented an artist she really is.

Back in the 90's/early 00's he made awesome videos for bands like the prodigy, U2, the smashing pumpkins...& now his work is all exploitative attempts at edgy that fail epically. Whatever he's directing videos with now, needs to be severed from his person (judging by his recent output, I'm guessing it's his dick)

Also, I dont know which I hate more- the gaudy T-Pain auto tuning, the she really needs help singing Lady Gaga auto tuning, or the no, really, she can sing, just didnt get the right vocal tracks down that day subtle auto tuning of Beyonce.
