Her music is catchy... however if you listen to her album (which I have the misfortune of enduring most days in sixth form) she recycles the same beat over and over... that is the only reason why her songs are all so damn addictive regardless of if you like them or not.

On another note, I'd love to see her without all her makeup/extensions/false eyelashes/outfits... I think she'd be ever so boring.

People will always have different taste, no one can really decide what's good and what's not, except from their own personal point of view.

As far as I'm aware / have heard, Lady Gaga both writes her own lyrics and music. That fact alone makes her worth admiring, especially compared to a lot of other so-called musicians out there. And she does have a pretty neat voice aswell.

Yes, she repeats lyrics and such, but hey - doesn't Trent? What's wrong with repeating a line/phrase/whatever, if it's a good one? Okay, she doesn't have much "serious" music, but maybe that's her thing. i'm seriously embarrassed for this last 10 years when it comes to music. worst ever. amazing bands are out there, but they're the little ones slogging their guts out every night on original songs or playing live, the ones that never get on the radio, the ones like many artists on this site too.

when it comes to the music industry though, most of these bands aren't really a part of it, they're still indie doing their own thing, and being happy for each small success they get, and each new fan they have enjoy their music.

lady gaga and all those like her are a fucking joke. the new generation of phil spectre's like timbaland, pharrel, and the stable of producers each big label has creates all this shit music, then attaches some mediochre performer to the sounds, and promotes the fuck out of them across all mediums to make massive returns on their investment, by convincing stupid kids and even more stupid adults that this music is actually worth a few dollars.

she'll be nothing in a year or two, much like every other fucking pop artist. i have no idea how britney keeps coming back like a fucking cockroach, she's got less talent than a steaming pile of dog shit. she must have a promo dept. like madonna has, who'll cut any throat to get the bitch back in the spotlight.

hopefully a comet wipes out the planet very soon, so i don't have to hear any of this shit 'music' ever again.

You know it's only meant to impress teenage wanne-be's. I appreciate what she THINKS she is contributing to the pop-world - a nice piece of ass wrapped up in cellophane - but hopefully if we just ignore her she'll melt away. Unfortunately what she is doing is already sooo exhausted.
