Lindsay Lohan is due at the Airport Courthouse in LA at 8:30am this morning for her felony grand theft case, and legal experts believe Judge Schwartz will seek jail time for Lohan's probation violation and possible felony charge.

And there's more bad news for Lohan: even if her attorney Shawn Chapman Holley is able to reach a plea deal, it will likely result in jail time, as both Judge Schwartz and prosecutor Danette Meyers are reportedly looking to come down hard on the 24-year-old actress. Two weeks ago Lohan pleaded not guilty to a felony grand theft charge that she stole a $2,500 necklace from Kamofie and Company in Venice, and the actress will face Judge Elden Fox on Friday regarding battery charges resulting from her December altercation with an employee at the Betty Ford Center.

So what's she wearing to today's hearing? After the sexy (and incredibly inappropriate) body-hugging white Kimberly Ovitz dress she wore two weeks ago, mom Dina has advised her daughter to stick to something more conservative. Dina told E!, "The dress wasn't risque, it came down to her knees. I told her that tomorrow she's got to wear a black pantsuit."

^I hope she does go to jail. Obnoxious asshole.

Stealing a 2,500 dollar necklace?

So how about that Charlie Sheen trainwreck! I feel so bad for the crew and rest of cast on that show. Poor Jon Cryer! I hope he finds something better.

02/27/11 2:53 PM

Charlie Sheen is actually in the right on this one, all he was doing was speaking his mind, 'freedom of speech' and that rubbish, I hope he and the SAG sues the fuck out of them tv exec fatcats for unjust dismissal.

02/27/11 3:03 PM

Ya but speaking your mind publically about your boss? Come on, I don't know anyone that if they made comments like that would still have their job. It is common sense man.

02/27/11 3:41 PM

there are other ways to punish your employees, last time i checked, you could not fire someone just because they don't like you, just sayin...

02/27/11 9:16 PM

I don't think that he was fired, but the production of that awful show was pulled for the remainder of the season.

Charlie Sheen interview: 'You can't process me with a normal brain'

Charlie Sheen's Hollywood career may have been ruined by the star's bizarre pronouncements in a string of interviews

Charlie Sheen's career trajectory took another lurch after the Hollywood star gave a string of bizarre interviews defending his past indulgence with drugs and porn stars, assailing his critics as "retarded" and vowing to sue his former employers for canceling his hit TV sitcom.

The star of the US network comedy Two And A Half Men took to the airwaves with a vengence on Monday, producing samples of his blood and urine for a drugs test – which came up clean – and telling NBC's Today show that CBS and Warner Brothers would have to beg him to return and increase his pay from $2m to $3m per episode because of "psychological distress".

"I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special. I'm tired of pretending like I'm not bitching, a total fricking rock star from Mars, and people can't figure me out, they can't process me. I don't expect them to. You can't process me with a normal brain," Sheen told NBC's Jeff Rossen.

In a competing ABC News interview, Sheen said: "I am on a drug, it's called 'Charlie Sheen'. It's not available because if you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.
"

Sheen then stopped and mused: "Too much?"

Having boasted of his ability to consume crack cocaine, Sheen told ABC's Andrea Canning that he couldn't remember the last time he had used drugs – although he suggested it had been "six weeks ago" – and maintained he was now drug-free for the sake of his five children.

As if that wasn't enough, Sheen also granted an extended conversation to TMZ.com, which the celebrity website streamed as live video from Sheen's "home rehab centre" – apparently the poolside of Sheen's Los Angeles home.

In the TMZ interview Sheen discoursed widely on a number of subjects, including his ability to cure himself from addiction, his views on parenthood, playing baseball and his efforts to house a group of porn stars nearby – "Some plans just don't work out," Sheen said – while surrounded by a group of his friends and admirers known as "Camp Charlie".

TMZ's Mike Walters asked Sheen if he had hit "rock bottom" – and Sheen replied: "Rock bottom? That's a fishing term."

"I have a grandiose life. I embrace it." Sheen expounded. "Sorry my life is so much more bitchin' than yours. I planned it this way."

Discussing his battle against the makers of Two And A Half Men, Sheen said he wanted to return to acting but also warned: "I'm insulted. I am confused. But these resentments, they are the rocket fuel that lives in the tip of my sabre."

Shortly after the TMZ interview ended, Sheen's PR manager Stan Rosenfeld announced that he was resigning: "I worked with Charlie Sheen for a long time and I care about him very much, however, at this time, I'm unable to work effectively as his publicist and have respectfully resigned."

Sheen told ABC that he had never lost "a day that cost anybody any money" during filming of the sitcom, apart from missing rehearsals. "Practice is for amateurs," Sheen sneered.

He said he had received calls of support from fellow celebrities, including Mel Gibson. "Occasionally, you know, a giant marquee name comes through on your caller ID. And it's like, winning," Sheen said.

CBS and producers Warner Brothers finally lost patience with Sheen last week, with CBS suspending the comedy midway through its ninth series, after Sheen launched a series of public attacks on the show's creator Chuck Lorre and appears to have refused further formal rehabilitation treatment. Production of the sitcom had been delayed twice in the past two years to allow Sheen to undergo treatment.

Before the decision to cancel the series, Sheen had been America's most highly-paid TV actor and Two And A Half Men was the top-rated sitcom in the country, attracting an audience of around 15 million viewers a week for the network – and many more through re-runs, syndication and DVD sales.

"They picked a fight with a warlock," Sheen said of his promised legal battle against CBS, which he vowed to undertake "with zeal and focus, violent hatred ... You either love or you hate. You live in the middle, you get nothing."

Asked by TMZ for a final thought, Sheen replied: "I love and respect all my beautiful fans. Whatever part I had in this, I sincerely apologise for. Whatever I can fix, I guarantee, I will."

Hmmm, that's the thing, he should be a trainwreck but he is not. Despite all he is being made up to be and although his personal life is not my business or anyone else's, he is looking well, sounds coherent and hasn't broken any laws. He has given absolutely nothing but his A game for the show so i don't feel as a viewer i have any reason to complain.

About the writer, Charlie is the star of the show not him, especially after 8 seasons his now stale (fresh at the beginning but inevitably not anymore) and repetitive lines are not what keep the show amongst the best but the two and a half men themselves.

And if i want to be perfectly honest, fuck that selfish piece of shit for canceling my show. I mean Sheen was removed cause he insulted him by calling him Chaim ?! Fuck off

Being arrested for trashing a hotel room while dangling from a chandelier in the nude might be a sign that you're a train wreck--and I think is also illegal.

He looked pretty coked up and not at all coherent when I saw him give his interview where he said that he was "special," and "high on Charlie Sheen."

Ya if you think he sounds coherent....then lol I don't know what to say. Ranting about how people are "turds, retards" etc and boasting about how much drugs one can do or saying they do them "responsibly", as he said about crack..to me that is nonsense. Plus that guy has broken more laws than Suge Knight!

He can party it's not my problem. He broke it, he bought it and everyone is a consenting adult. His personal life is not what he sells me, thus im not judging him like a "socialite", he can bullshit and be as pompous as he wants in his interviews. He has no obligation to do otherwise.

He is just as good as he was 20 years ago when he did Hot Shots. That's what i want.

I agree, I actually admire him more because of this, as someone who knows what it is like to be "persecuted", everyone is just jealous of him IMHO.

and it looks like Lohan is getting off(mmm...) stupid jewelry store

George Clooney and Cristiano Ronaldo named as witnesses in Berlusconi trial

Hollywood actor and footballer could be called to give evidence when Italian prime minister answers 'bunga bunga' charges

The Guardian posted:
George Clooney and Cristiano Ronaldo may be called to testify in defence of Silvio Berlusconi when he stands trial on charges of underage prostitution.

The Italian prime minister's lawyers have submitted a list of 78 witnesses they intend to call at Berlusconi's trial which starts on 6 April, including Italian government ministers, the Italian news agency Ansa reported.

They have also called Karima El Mahroug, known as Ruby, the Moroccan runaway who was 17 when she allegedly attended sex parties held by Berlusconi.

Prosecutors deposited their own list of 132 witnesses, which also includes Mahroug and 32 other women they believe attended bunga bunga parties at Berlusconi's mansion near Milan in 2010.

Prosecutors are likely to ask Mahroug about Berlusconi's parties and the gifts of cash and jewellery she reportedly received from him.

Defence lawyers seeking to undermine Mahroug's credibility may question her about claims she made to investigators that Clooney was present at a dinner she attended at Berlusconi's mansion. Clooney's Italian girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, has already told investigators that neither she nor Clooney attended a dinner at the mansion.

Mahroug, who has given widely conflicting accounts of her past, also told investigators she was paid for sex by footballer Ronaldo, a claim denied by Ronaldo. The trial judges will decide which witnesses to admit.

Berlusconi is also on trial for pressuring Milan police to release Mahroug from custody when she was arrested on suspicion of theft last year. Berlusconi told officers Mahroug could be a relative of the then Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

Officers who released of Mahroug will be called for the prosecution.

The prosecution will also call Nicole Minetti, a regional politician and habitué of Berlusconi's parties, showbusiness agent Lele Mora and TV presenter Emilio Fede, who are likely to stand trial separately charged with procuring prostitutes for Berlusconi, 74.

The defence, which claims Berlusconi's dinners were sober affairs, will call Mara Carfagna, a topless model turned government minister in the Berlusconi administration, who attended a dinner.

Isn't that a bit of an overstatement? I mean, she's not attractive, but not everyone is and there's nothing "gross" about having a normal, run-of-the-mill, slightly overweight body. How good do YOU look in a bathing suit?

Cristiano Ronaldo and George Clooney at a trial? This should be interesting to keep tabs on.

Hahaha...fair enough. And you're right about the bathing suit. You'd think one of her friends would have told her how totally unflattering that it is!
