This whole thread rocks. I can't believe I haven't gone in here before. I'd like to tell all the artists that you've all done some pretty great work.

I wish I was good at something like this... lol. I guess I could try, I have the urge, but I don't know... it'll be ridiculous.

This is a digital illustration/collage/whatever I did. It was featured in my university's art gallery and on the front page of our student website. :-) Gotta love WACOM tablets...

^ I notice you have a Y34RZ3R0R3M1X3D artwork (AKA: we deserved better than this) on the laptop in the background (nice, nice!). Apart from that, I'm thinking something along the veins of:

1) Glitching/distortion from Year Zero artwork (and to a certain extent, [WITH_TEETH])
2) Sparing greyscale usage reflecting how one perceives a dream. The missing spots indicate: "What is real?". Homage to both Head Down's lyrics and some substantial amount of [WITH_TEETH] (possible subplot of questioning the outside world and the state of one's role in it)
3) "Ice is starting to form" - And All That Could Have Been (the winter comment and white on top of equipment)
4) Obviously a studio. Looks eerily similar to a Fragile-era shot of Trent's own (well... at least part of it)
5) You're a Mac user, aren't you? Trent is too!

But then all of the above is my perception only!

Link to picture, it's pretty big.

I did this Mandala in my art class, I worked harder on this than any other project so far, because it meant so much to me. It's about 3 feet wide, and each section represents each major album. I wonder if you guys can figure them out? One or two of them should be pretty obvious. Tell me what you think.


Ignore the happy looking pumpkins and ghosts tablecloth, I took this in my kitchen.

Those were good guesses, You got Year Zero, The Fragile, and The Slip. The one clockwise to The Four of us are Dying is Pretty Hate Machine (Two sections splitting apart), then Broken (more inspired by the cover), then The Downward Spiral (Inspired by Eraser and the person the album is about fading away.) You got the feather, the next is with teeth, it resembles (I think it does anyway) teeth, and it also has the art style from that era, then the Presence, and Ghosts I-IV. You got the center, as well.

The nails are all exactly nine inches, which makes up for there only being 8 of them.

I would've used art more similar to the actual art from the albums, but we couldn't use copyrighted material. (I couldn't not use The Presence though, Trent won't mind )
