Find out where one can sent Trent "fanmail" and mail him one of your portraits.
It may take awhile for him to get to it, but I think he'd appreciate it, and even eventually get back to you. Think about it... he gets
TONS of letters... but how many drawings/portraits?
are you serious?? why can't you just leave him alone? do you really think he appreciates it when you send him portraits and even wants to contact you?? in "the art of darkness", an article from 1995, the author describes how every day packages with books, pictures etc arrived, because people thought tr would care...
fan-art is cool and fun and necessary, but don't get too euphoric (the "ooohh your soooo great!" "no, YOU are soo great" party).
@silent: of course it's technically ok, but he looks like he got beaten up (swollen lip)
@mayumi: first one has a cute naive style, but the person could just be anyone (maybe dave navarro)
@ChalkNurse: does he have a golf ball behind his lips? looks almost like a duck beak
@tonnel: your abstractions are really good
@kairi-66: why did you post the same content on page one and three?
the one Americunt posted has nothing to do with an abstraction of tr, but at least it's done very well.
portraits are not easy. most of us make the person we portrait prettier, with features that we like. the problem with a remarkable face is the risk of drawing one "eye-catcher" feature (a nose, par example) and neglecting the rest.
