Some of you on the boards are at least vaugely aware of my project "Common-Names"

Last week, I said "Fuck it" and released 12 of the completed tracks as a cold release to see how the overall material digests with everyone. Unintentionally over the two years that the songs took to get to there current state. realized it follows a storyline.

I created a concept album dealing with a semi apocolyptic theme (orginal huh?)

As always your feedback is appreciated. some of the songs are in rougher shape than others. but I am looking to replace my vocalist on this "Album" to keep it up to date for upcoming live shows. No bad blood, but he has relocated across the country, making touring, performing impossible. So, While I wait to see how that pans out. here.

I streamed a few of the songs. "A Startling Revelation" was my fav of the 3 or 4 songs that I streamed. I think the use of the background vocals and the music in general sounded more "original" and less industrial or techno influenced. It sort of has a weird 80's vibe to me that really worked well.

I'll try to come back one evening and listen to a few more of the songs.
