Sorry about the sickness there Gambit. Down with the Sickness even .. was never much too much of a Disturbed fan. Those choppy vocals never did it for me. Life is good yo!! Hey, Peace. The pictures I took were mainly of people. I got a couple good ones of the Arch in ST. Louis on my return trip. That's about it though for scenery. I'll see if I can get one up, along with the hair soon.
Remy is still recovering from his kidney infection. It got pretty bad. What is it with guys and refusing to go to the Dr. For things until it is absurdly unbearable? At least he was lucky and didn't have to give the long Q-Tip sample for lab tests. :O | |

Vibrant? Hahaha we can just call it extremely bright. I no longer have need of any reflective gear when walking at night.

Yeah Anniversary is over.. What's going on? All I can say is turkey, man. Went to a Thanksgiving dinner before the Cowboy's game on Thanksgiving. Ate some tacos Friday. Threw the annual Thanksgiving Dinner Party on Saturday. I am still drowning in turkey and leftovers! *pushes food around plate* That's it! Whatever is left hits the trash tonight. I can't take anymore.. "On the 6th Day of Christmas my true love made for me.. Flaaaaaming Tuuuuurkey Wiiiiiiiings!" oh hell no! Remy get away from that bird with the blow torch! We are not doing another day of turkey! Hot wings my ass!

Oh you know.. Holiday stuff. Yay! Gambit is on vacation for the Holidays! And about mid- week we go into cookie making mode. You know.. Snicker doodles, peanut butter, chocolate chip, sugar and Gambit makes a down right tasty oatmeal raisin (I am not very good at those).

Magic cookies?
Once upon a time when Rogue was barely a teenager, she was making brownies to take to the big Memorial Day cookout her Grandparents were having for family and the neighborhood. It just so happens that her older brother in law decided they could use a magic ingredient. He had The young Rogue make several batches for this purpose. I have to say, I have never again seen such a jovial group of old folks. And not a single brownie went uneaten.

Oh, you know.. The cookies, the dinners, the cooking, shopping, etc. we are finally now getting a break and some time to relax. At least until the next round starts again this weekend, I've also been writing a little. It's nice having a place where I can do this peacefully and share my work. You don't realize what a gift that is. Anyway, my head is full of ideas and I have been giving it a lot of my spare time lately. I am sorry I haven't been around the party room as much. But I am still here. . So, after much nudging and encouraging from Wolverine, I am giving it a real try. Who knows? I am sure neither he nor Gambit expected the recent string of horror I have come up with. It's funny really, I am actually quite happy. And yet my imagination is creating something else. Weird how these things work.
