Don't ask her in the middle of a Suge and Kimmeh show... Her "day" will have changed significantly by the end of it

02/09/11 4:40 AM

Xanthe, OK "Mrs. Joans" will do smiling smiley

RhettButler, my day was pretty good. Was at the Craft Cottage (am a member of Campbelltown Craft Society) and sold a few things. We're all volunteers and we sell our own handcrafted items, we get that money minus 10% which goes back into the running of the shop, eg rent, telephone, electricity etc. The building is heritage listed and belongs to Campbelltown City Council, we rent it from them. It's a fun place to be, I've been a member for about 5 or 6 years or so. How was your day?

Now, let's settle back and watch The Suge And Kimmeh Show!!! *cues music* (Prowler could do the drums!!)

02/12/11 8:30 AM

02/12/11 11:02 AM

Happy to see Joan with her own app thread! We "seniors" gotta stick together!

02/12/11 8:55 PM

Mrs. Joans!
I heard an Australian slur today. Koala Hugger? lolz I thought is was funny. Is that offensive? smiling smiley

02/13/11 4:51 AM

ningamer, thank you!!! *hugs*

Prowler, if you mean me winking smiley then I'm doing fine!! Thanks for asking. smiling smiley

Lita, right now it's 10.44pm eastern daylight saving time, Sunday 13 February, and I'm answering your question. smiling smiley

Wowk, yes, I did accept your friend request!!! I like keeping up with everyone here and on facebook. smiling smiley

RhettButler, I don't know about Outback Steakhouse, but we've got the Black Stump restaurants, Lone Star, and a few others, although I mostly eat at home, and if we do go out to dinner we've got a really nice Chinese restaurant called The Peking Village, it's about 5 minutes walk from home and the last time we were there was for my son's 18th birthday celebration, and we all got a little bit drunk... eye rolling smiley (Legal drinking age in Australia is 18.)

Peedro, thank you!!! smiling smiley And yes, we "Seniors" must stick together!!!! smiling smiley

Xanthe, I've never been called a Koala hugger, and if I was, it wouldn't worry me. smiling smiley I guess some people might be offended by it, I don't know. Personally I think it might be more of a compliment smiling smiley because Koalas are cute and cuddly.

02/15/11 10:10 PM

Hi Joan! I think it's a tragedy we haven't been to a concert together yet. We live in the same city! We must rectify this as soon as possible.

02/16/11 4:45 AM

^^I'm thinking about going to see Uriah Heep at the Enmore in April. Apart from that, I go to a few local gigs, and last Friday I was at the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown to see Torche Le Monde, Black Label, and I forget the name of the opening act (my bad).

There are so many gigs I would love to see, eg Iron Maiden \m/ but, sad to say, I am somewhat financially challenged so I miss out on a lot... sad smiley

I would like very much to meet you and go to a gig with you some time...

Oh, and NNIIINNNNGGGAAAAMMMEEEERRRRR!!!!!!!! smiling smiley

ningamer, hi there!!! Well, the universe had a minor hiccup today... but, well, you know, shit happens... we move on...

02/28/11 3:38 AM

What time is it where you live? It's 5:378 here in the East Coast.

02/28/11 3:42 AM

It is now 9.41pm eastern daylight saving time on Monday 28th February. It's the end of summer for us, but we've still got about 7 or 8 weeks of daylight saving time to go.
