One day many years ago, Ma and I were driving down to Florida to visit her parents. Once we crossed the border into Florida, we experienced almost every single type of weather you can think of all along the same stretch of highway. We had rain, hail, snow, wind, blinding sunlight, a mild hurricane, total darkness in the middle of the afternoon, there was a fire on the side of the road at one point... Pretty much everything except a flood, tornado and an earthquake. It was quite a bizarre drive
Fun story... As I was typing that, I misspelled the word "visit" as "fisit". My spell check pointed it out to me, and when I clicked on the word, the first correction it offered me was the word "fist"... We were most definitely
not going to Florida to fist her parents
