Ok, this is beautiful to the sight... the ponys and all the glitter but it was also made to ponyland people you don't like they attitude lately for some reason. We can ponyland people out of the forums as well, I heard. So I feel like ponylanding someone...
I ponyland my father because he don't talk to me since my last birthday (April, 2nd)... and I live with him. It's not the big deal but it's annoying, for sure. Seriously: first, I'm sorry you feel it's retarded. Second, about "why now": actually, the rules of the Shitlist never changed. The Shitlist was always meant to be serious business. The blame can be put on us mods for never enforcing that aspect of it (therefore allowing it to become the Ponyland in the first place). When we started calling it "The Ponyland" it was in derision; a way for us to tell "you're doing it wrong guys". But we soon realized that The Ponyland was liked more than the Shitlist itself and for us (mods) it did become a problem. The Shitlist has a purpose on a board, like I stated on another post and it's very much needed, IMO. There's another aspect to the Shitlist that users don't realize: it's a way for users to "moderate" themselves. The Shitlist is sort of the last step when a user is disrupting the board: if you're being shitlisted, it's because you are doing something wrong and it's your last chance you have to correct that behavior before the mods step in with even more serious consequences. Having the Shitlist turn into a fun place meant that it was not taken as seriously as it should be. For all those reason, we mods and admins decided that for now on, we would enforce all the rules concerning the Shitlist. But I, for one, liked the Ponyland too and I didn't want to see it go away. That's why this thread was created too. 
And while I'm here: I'm going to ponyland my GODDAMN COMPUTER FOR BEING A GODDAMN PIECE OF GARBAGE SHIT. I HATE YOU, BITCH! I need a new computer badly... *cries* | |
