Surprisingly gude save to tha holiday weekend... will fill in at a later daye... Still pissed that I didn'tmake it to to the 219 in Alexandria... Prowls and I have some catching up to do............. alll;;;llllll 4 naow.

That was a pretty good guess there, Prowls. I am glad that I'm forgiven but, we must remedy this lack of meeting-up in the near future.



Ok, so here goes a weekend/early week summary...
Friday night I was hoping to get out to Alexandria, VA to see Prowler's band in action. Unfortunately, I really didn't give my friend, Zack, the notice that he needed to go with me and I was feeling too antisocial to go by myself. Friday was a complete wash all together.

Saturday was nothing too crazy. Just a fairly productive day and a good evening. Went over to Zack's family gym (they teach gymnastics so it has everything from a springfloor to uneven bars, rings...) and got in about half of my typical calisthenics workout and then he got home. He was feeling frisky so, my workout suddenly became a 30 minute wrestling/grappling match with light submisssions and touch striking. We both got the better of each other pretty hard a few times and then called it quits on an incredible workout. Hung out for a bit longer with Zack and his fam and headed home.

Sunday... Just more productivity and a decent evening jog. Pretty blah.

Monday (Halloween) was really where my spirits started getting heavily uplifted...
The night started after seeing the kids trick or treating and I just felt the need to be festive too. I called up Zack and said let's do something... now. We whipped up some decent costumes and then the disaster struck. We started looking for places to go and drove all over the county finding nothing but, deserted bars and mini clubs everywhere.
My final thought was to go to the gas station that was still selling beer at 11:30, pick up some and, just go back to Zack's if no one was at the gas station (a barometer of sorts for seeing if anyone was out). A pretty girl said something to me jokingly, I laughed, I gave a brief response, and began to walk away. Completely unlike myself, I felt the need to really talk to her. She just gave me a really warm and approachable vibe. It ended up that she was just off of work and looking for something to do too. We tried out the last (and biggest) place in the county and were pretty much the only ones there but, we had a blast and talked to the other really nice and cool 3-7 people there.
I just realized howlong I've been typing and need to end this post but, basically, I met an incredible, beautiful, fun, strong, smart, sassy woman. We vibed perfect from the jump and it's been a real treat so far. We've seen each other every day since and I can't wait to see her tommorrow.

Congratulations on meeting an amazing girl, BT! I wish I could randomly meet a cool, single, sober girl like that. The band's going to be back in Alexandria later this month... You should totally bring her out!

Trust me, if I randomly meet a great girl in person like that, I'm freezing my dating site accounts.

Prowls, we'll have to see if we can get some ladies to your show. If we can make it to the next one, maybe we'll drag one of her friends along. Any luck with the online stuff so far?


Thanks Cyn! Twas a good weekend. Nice to do a mixture of fitness AND social events for a change.
