I'd love to do that. For some reason, I'd be scared shitless (I think it's my constant dream of dying in lifts) but I'd love to do it anyway!

Bungee jumping, though... no thanks.

It's not me on the pic. I went there, took a pic before I jumped away from it.. Really far. When I was pep talking myself to face my fear and go there, there were 2 german guys I didn't see (my mother did) and they were looking at me and whispering to each other. Then as soon as I got on the glass floor, they came running, and pounced on either sides of me, then left, laughing... I freaked out so much, it took me 20 minutes to get ready to go back and take the damn picture (my mother wouldn't dare)

uh, no.. Never saw them. I'm not sure I want to... I don't like robots. Even the nice ones. Wall-e is the only one I like. But Eve looks nasty. And the star wars ones... no. Don't like them.

I'm not sure the problem is the frogs, or the kid. Maybe the problem is the candy. That's the only thing in the equation which is a product of our society, the thing that isn't naturally there, Society gives us rules from birth on the way things are (most of which are wrong), because as a race we seem to think we can do a better job than whatever put us here in the first place. We've "evolved" past those instincts, which isn't necessarily a good thing, or a bad thing. We're capable of great things, but we're also capable of great evil and stupidity.

Wow! You can do EVERYTHING! thumbs up

hum... no.
There are lots of things I can't do. I can't change my oil in my car. In fact I know nothing about mechanic. I can't fix anything in my house, I call my father all the time to fix my stuff, like the sink when it leaks, the bath tub that won't drain... to install a shelf on a wall.. Also, I can't sing, and I was never able to climb in a tree because I'm afraid of heights. terrified would be a better word. I went in the CN Tower, and stepped on the glass floor just to prove I could do it, and then I nearly puked. Here's what it looks like. The little dots: they're people:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e9/Glass_Floor_of_the_CN_Tower.JPG/800px-Glass_Floor_of_the_CN_Tower.JPG

I just like to try things. I'm never closed to any idea. If there's something to try, I'm there. Except using the back door when I'm with someone, if you get my meaning... I'll never try that.

I would have to be drunk in order to step foot on a floor like that! I'm afraid of falling because simply put, When you fall you are not in control. I am so used to being in control. I am handy with fixing stuff , but I do pay to get my oil chaged , but can do it myself if I had too. I once took apart an engine and put it back together in auto shop (high school)and it ran! grinning smiley That was fun. I love to learn and will try most things once. winking smiley

Yeah. There's a scientific study that came out yesterday that said we're past the point of no return. The atmosphere is so polluted, and the water and we keep consuming and polluting, and they say that the only thing that's up to us is to slow the process so we can make it last. Still, they say that we're past the point of no return. The buffer capacity of the planet is reached. Thanks to our species. However, some stupid people could use these results to say things like "well, it's already polluted... to hell with it, i'm not being careful anymore" and instead of taking 1000 years to see the end of the world, it will be sped up X 10...

I did some catch up. Wow, some really deep stuff was discussed. I am very impressed with the information posted in this thread. Well done ladies smiling smiley I am also very depressed at the fact that people don't give a shit anymore to take care of the planet. I care, but I don't know what to do about it. I would get one of those hybrid cars, but do not have the money, nor do I want to trade in my car. I like it too much... And to those robots?...I hope I don't see the day when there are ones. Cloning, Stem Cell research?(same thing?)...I do know anything about it in depth, but I think both of it is wrong. If someone died that I knew or me even, I wouldn't want someone cloning them..Okay...I'm done with my rambling..

^^Not rambling. Every opinion is worth hearing/reading. That's what we're here for.

For your car: all you have to do is use it less, for more important things. Hybrid cars pollute just as much, only it's in a different way. The bits and pieces they are made of are traveled around the world about 4 times before the car is all put together and ready to go. Also, the battery is EXTREMELY polluting. In the end, hybrid cars are just as "dirty" as normal, but well maintained regular cars. They don't tell you about it when they try to sell you one...

Still in Quebec City... My friend was supposed to call his brother to ask where the show is tonight and to call me between 9 am and noon. It's noon. He didn't call. Probably he doesn't even know where it is. The university is HUGE... He's such a male!

Now, ask me why I'm single.

Edit: Ok, all is fixed. Because I found the info.. He didn't call me because he didn't want to wake me up...

I'm soooo tired. I took 2 pics with him, but didn't get to talk to him at all about anything.. Sorry China. There were too many people trying to talk to him, he was trying to gather all his stuff. He nicely asked me to wait a bit for the picture because he wanted to "get all my stuff together go put some shoes on..." Really a nice guy. I didn't want to bug him with my picture taking. I was really shy, more than I thought I would be..
And the buchla music... AMAZING!!! It'll come out on a MP3, the people there were recording... can't wait till I see that again on Sunday!!!

I promise I'll try to get your picture in China.. It's just that I'm so shy... I don't want to feel like a fangirl, and I already did tonight...Everybody was asking technical questions and details about the modules and plugs and cables and effects.. I don't know a single thing about it. I just enjoy the music very much, so what can I say.. I wanted to ask a couple questions about nin stuff, but then I felt out of place. He is blindoldfreak now..

Here: my 2 pics with Ally!!!

First one. Right after the show, he was picking his cables up. The guy that took it shook a little so the edges aren,t too sharp. Plus, it was really hot in the room, so we were both red, and I look like I was trying to run away from him. so we took another one after, when we were all ready to leave

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l285/meldrou/P1100911-1.jpg

Then the second one, he said "you're lucky! you caught me with a beanie! I never wear a beanie, except when I'm in Montreal..."
Oh, and I look like an ass in both.. I know. I couldn't photoshop my face...sad smiley

I'll put more out eventually. I'm in Montreal today, so there's a ton of things I need to get done before I get out of that city I hate.
