I am really excited that NIN is back, but I know that most of us are disappointed that Robin isn't part of the new NIN. After seeing yesterday's news, I spent hours watching NIN shows from 08 & 09 and felt even worse.
I will really miss him on stage, and those back up vocals... I feel like NIN isn't complete without him. I believe you understand how I feel. All hail the Finckster [www.youtube.com]  | |

On Sunday (fourth anniversary of NIN Hordern Pavilion gig) we watched the dvd that was made of that gig and shared around with everybody. Robin is so much fun to watch on stage.
I was sorry he wasn't included in this new line-up, but Adrian Belew is a very well-respected guitarist too and I think he will fill the spot very nicely.
Did anybody see the movie "Ghosts Of Mars"? There's some of Robin's music on that. | |

I've still got Ghosts Of Mars on my hard drive, I must sit down and watch it some time. According to the closing credits, though, Robin is not listed, but Buckethead is. Maybe somebody got their guitarists mixed up?

Looks like Robin played on Gary Numan's album to be released later this year--from Numan's Facebook page:
