This should clear up any rumours that the Finckster will indeed be "pulling a Freese" any time soon. This has been a daily service announcement from your friendly neighbourhood Swindley." It came following Robin's name being taken off the GnR Myspace band list today. (The GnR Myspace run by the band management) I'm glad he'll be staying with NIN if this is the word passed down from the band. I can't imagine the hotline posting something like that without hearing something from either Robin or the NIN camp. Although things could change, who knows. But this seems to be the most recent update. Now did I miss a thread on this here on the forum? I can't seem to find any. Tara

I think most of it started out on GN'R forums and just sort of trickled a bit into the NIN forums in GN'R related threads--I know there was and is still a ton of speculation on the HTGTH forum, which is the only GN'R forum I've bothered to read through to see the discussion on Robin. They were reading too much into the little things. I think some of them--the ones that aren't still mourning for the loss of Slash--are just desperate for Robin to come back to GN'R. Well, I don't blame them. I didn't expect Robin to drop out of the NIN tour (they were speculating that he would leave after the North American tour, like Josh) to re-join GN'R, absolutely not. Though, I could have seen him touring with GN'R during NIN's downtime, now I'm not so sure. I think it's safe to assume that he's gone indefinitely. Edited 1 time(s). That's pretty much it, I am a die hard Guns and die hard NEW Guns fan, he is such a giant part of the new band that we choose not to believe he has left us, it is pretty much going to take me seeing someone in his spot to believe it, it sucks, the band becomes less and less credible every time a spot gets switched, and Finck has been with newgnr since the beginning
