I admit I've always been lurker on this Fincktastic thread. For various reasons I've never wanted to become an official member of nin.com but now I have no choice. It seems that somehow my doodles have found their way onto this forum. I'm flattered that you find them amusing but please ask for permission next time! It's crazy how fast stuff gets dispersed, isn't it? Wow!

Guess I'm just worried that certain individuals who tend to throw hissy fits and Twitter tantrums might not be able to take a joke. I know they're posted on my photobucket account which is accessible to the public (if they know where to look) but that's very different from posting them on nin.com where said individuals pop in from time to time.

Perhaps some users here happen to frequent other forums as well...?

Anyhoo, they're just crude sketches I did to make people laugh please T Rez do not punch me in my chesticles so just regard them as pieces of fluff or mental debris. The anime Robin is a running gag where he has his own animated TV show. I always thought he looked like a living anime character.

I finally got a Wacom tablet and I've been trying to practice on it today. It's really difficult without anyone to help me! I tried to flesh out that anime sketch so it would look how I imagined the Finck cartoon. Usually it's so easy for me to paint or draw something on a peice of paper but drawing on this little plastic square aggrivates me. Argh.

Why, thank you!! XD I'm hoping to update again soon. I have a folder full of drawings somewhere, and once I find it, I can update again. XD As for "Finck and Friends"... that might be fun. *giggle* I think there wuld be a lot of jealous Aaron misunderstanding the relationship between Robin and Jerome. XD

It's not that I have a crush on Trent anymore, it's just that his marriage seems really impulsive. I just worry that he'll get hurt. *shrug* But it's his life. He can do whatever he wants without my stamp of approval. Maybe I'll concentrate on drawing the other guys. XD

Sigh...this is one of the reasons I never wanted to actually sign up for NIN.com and get on any of the forums. How can you have an open discussion in an environment that promotes censorship? Forget all that "Art is Resistance" B.S., this place is sanitized more than Dick Cheney's torture memos.

First, let me explain that I was NOT trying to start any sort of discussion about Trent's marriage. I was merely giving Ryu some friendly advice. I even tried to put it in a light-hearted context but apparently, that didn't translate very well. Was it wrong of me to be concerned about Ryu? I'll remember to avoid this topic like the plague next time. In fact, in the spirit of Lord Voldemort, let's replace the word "Marriage" with "That Which Must Not Be Named."

Secondly, I think you owe Ryu an apology because, not only were you quick to jump in and exaggerate an inncocent exchange, but you're implying that she's bitter when in her post it clearly states otherwise. You took everything we said out of context and yet, somehow, you still got the core message, which was "Trent can do whatever he damn well pleases and it's none of our business." That is all we were going to say on the matter, nothing more.

Sorry to have "tainted" the thread with a mere sentence or two. I respect everyone here and don't wish to cause any trouble. Let's get back to Fincking around.

'Twas the Tampa show. We knew which side of the Ampitheatre bands used to walk in and out of the backstage area and hung around during the Jane's Addiction set hoping to catch a glimpse of Robin. A couple people who had won backstage passes from Twitter came out and said that backstage had been pretty much abandoned and there was no sign of the band. SSSC was having their own party somewhere in the back. Then a security guard came over and we joked around with him for a bit. After a while JMJ meandered out from the crowd and walked past us to get backstage. We would have said hello but something seemed really...I dunno...off. I've read that JMJ is really cool and laid back with people but I swear, that night he seemed really upset! Sensing that he didn't want to be bothered, we just kept our distance. Finally the Street Sweeper guys came over and they were so wasted, you could tell one of the guys was having trouble focusing his eyes. They repeatedly tried to hit on us and invited us to their private party but we were a little creeped out and said we had to get up early the next day. After that we definitely didn't feel like sticking around anymore so we just went home.

It would be awesome to get a Robin hug at some point. I can't believe he gives out so many hugs. I'd be too shy to ask for one, though!

Do you remember if the people who walked out said they had specifically won the passes from Twitter? If not, that may have been me (or at least one of the people I was with at the time), as I was there. I would have seen you. Strange! I'm trying to think really hard if I briefly spoke to anyone then. I can't remember.

Robin is a hugger. A very good one. Sometimes he'll just give you one right away, sometimes you have to ask--but if you do it's worth whatever level of shyness you have to overcome.
